Your brain is constantly eating itself. This process is called phagocytosis, where cells envelop and consume smaller cells or molecules to remove them from the system. Don’t worry! Phagocytosis isn't harmful, but actually helps preserve your grey matter.

The Carnyx of Tintignac is a Celtic wind instrument from the Iron Age, specifically a type of trumpet made of bronze with an elongated S shape. The bell of the Carnyx was often shaped like the head of an open-mouthed boar or other animal. In 2004, a significant archaeological discovery was made at Tintignac in Corrèze, France. A pit dating back to the first century BC was found to contain over 500 fragments of metal objects, including seven carnyces, one of which was nearly complete. This was a significant find as only five carnyces had been discovered prior to this. The Tintignac Carnyx is a remarkable artifact, offering insight into the musical and cultural practices of the ancient Celts
