So it's a big deal that, as part of his grand jury proceedings, Jack Smith's prosecutors threatened one of Trump's former lawyers, suggesting that by refusing to waive attorney-client privilege — refusing to compromise his professional integrity — he was signaling that Trump was guilty of a crime.
