𝔇𝔢𝔠𝔞𝔶: An overlooked and relatively unknown aspect of the Arian Heresy is ferment which led to the heresy taking as much as it did. From the perspective of the morality of the people, both laity and clergy, both were deplorable. Considering how the Arians consolidated more power by both sympathizers and those who used the Arians as more of a means than anything else, these additional factors made Arianism more influential than it would have been under normal circumstances.

Pope Liberius, the first pope to not be considered a saint solely on the great heroic virtue to become a saint, after years of being tortured, caved in and gave a false anathema to St. Athanasius. Not only this, Antipope Felix II was installed in Rome to further push the Arian cause. III. The Arians killed Christians by the thousands for not conceding to their heresy, showing their ravenous hatred. IV. The Arians hunted down St. Athanasius with the goal to kill him, where soldiers chased after him for defending the Divinity of Christ. V. At its apex, the Robber Councils of Sirmium, as it appeared to be, overturned Nicaea I. From what these facts show, they put into perspective the Arian Heresy. Not only did the human faculties lose almost every single bishop, Christians were killed by the heretics in droves, the heretics did all that they could to uphold their false doctrines since they could not sweeten their rationale into the faithful, and even had a robber council which had all the appearances of an ecumenical council.
