🔖The reality is that we only have ourselves at the end of the day. Sometimes there really will not be anybody to give you a pat on the back and devour you with congratulatory gifts for getting through a difficult time. Sometimes we may have support systems to help us navigate, but ultimately, no one can deeply feel or understand the reality of your emotions or your situation. Only you can. Truthfully, everyone is occupied with their own lives, and sometimes they will just not have the emotional capacity to be present in your difficulties or in the way that you need or desire. The reality is that you must learn to rely on yourself only. You must learn to embrace yourself in every situation and difhiculty. To be there for yourself and treat yourself with the kind of attention, affection, and love that you would for someone you love. Ultimately, we are our own heroes, and if there is anybody who deserves the title of “hero” it’s us. Because there is no one coming to save us, accept ourselves.🌿
