WEEK 1 — Dormancy & Trust (Oct 1–4) 1. October 1 (Thursday) "Dear Daughter, A field gone quiet after harvest is not a field that has failed — it is a field that has finished its work for now. If your marriage feels less active this season than it did in the harvest months, don't panic. Dormancy is not death. Some seasons are meant to be still, not productive. 'To everything there is a season' (Eccl 3:1). What season is your marriage actually in right now — and are you fighting it or trusting it? #DearDaughter #StrongMarriage #WinterFaith"

Our aim during evangelism is to gently humble people, so that he will be open and honest, and listen to the gospel. This isn’t deceitful. It is the art of discretion—to be “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16).

Let us give thanks and praise to the Lord, Jesus. Tell someone about Jesus today.

DAY 1: How explicit does Isaiah 53 get regarding the Messiah? https://telegra.ph/DAILY-BIBLE-10-01

October 1 - Christ the Son Knows the Truth #LifeOfChrist “‘He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony’” (John 3:31–32). Jesus Christ is the one “who descended from heaven” (3:13). As such, He is “above all”—Christ is sovereign over the universe in general, and the world of humanity in particular. In the old covenant, “God . . . spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets” (Heb. 1:1). But in the new covenant God “in these last days has spoken to us in His Son” (v. 2). Jesus’ teaching is superior to anyone else’s because His knowledge is not secondhand. He is the source of divine revelation. What “He has seen and heard” in the heavenly realm, “of that He testifies” with certainty. Yet despite Jesus’ powerful, authoritative proclamation of the truth, “no one receives His testimony.” The world in general rejects Jesus and His teaching. The apostle John noted this in the Prologue to his gospel: “[Jesus] was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him” (1:9–11). Unbelievers willfully reject Jesus’ testimony to the truth because they are dead in their trespasses and sins (Eph. 2:1) and blinded by Satan (2 Cor. 4:4). Ask Yourself When there are so many situations in which we think we know best, not to mention so many other people who have their own judgments and opinions, how do we train ourselves to keep in mind that what God says is what’s true? When do you sense His authority challenged the most in your life?

October 1: The Real Reality #Devotional Ezekiel 1:1–3:15; Revelation 1:1–20; Job 32:1–10 John and Ezekiel open their prophetic books in a similar fashion—to prepare us for an unexpected view: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his slaves the things which must take place in a short time, and communicated it by sending it through his angel to his slave John, who testified about the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud and blessed are those who hear the words of the prophecy and observe the things written in it, because the time is near!” (Rev 1:1–3). “And it was in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, and I was in the midst of the exiles by the Kebar River. The heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. On the fifth day of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of the king Jehoiachin—the word of Yahweh came clearly to Ezekiel the son of Buzi, the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans at the Kebar River, and the hand of Yahweh was on him there” (Ezek 1:1–3). Both authors open with heavenly visions—God testifying to His people. Both place their prophecies in a particular setting, and both articulate their ideas during tragic, despairing times. We meet John on the island of Patmos, and we meet Ezekiel on a riverbank. But more important than where the visions start is where they take us: to a scenic overlook of reality, not as it appears, but as it is. God is about to reveal what’s really going on. Prophets speak truth about what others cannot see and urge them to heed that truth. John and Ezekiel call us to something greater, something unknown. They urge us to act as if time were running out—because it is. It’s only a matter of time until Jesus comes again. The visions of both these prophets declare that God wants to use us here and now for a grand purpose—one that we may not yet comprehend but that we must nonetheless embrace. Their message is clear: Our call may be difficult, but real reality demonstrates God working through the pain. He is bringing goodness into the world and into our lives. All we have to do is respond. What reality is God revealing to you today?

The Gospel is offensive to human pride because it leaves us with nothing to boast about. We are not rescued because we were wise enough, moral enough, or religious enough. We are rescued by grace.

If you are in Christ, both sexual sin and the heart dispositions that accompany the behaviors are already defeated foes.

Your struggle is not your identity. Your trauma is not your identity. Your past is not your identity. Your occupation is not your identity. Your hobby is not your identity. Your politics is not your identity. Don’t let the world label you. Your identity is in Christ alone.

“Progressive Christianity” is usually code language for compromising on old sin. Stick to Biblical Christianity.

5 Questions to Ask Before You Call Something "Biblical": 1. Does Scripture actually teach it? (2 Tim. 3:16) 2. Am I reading the verse in context? (2 Tim. 2:15) 3. Does my interpretation fit the rest of Scripture? (Acts 17:11) 4. Am I importing my preferences into the text? (Prov. 18:2) 5. Am I willing to change my mind if Scripture corrects me? (Isa. 66:2) Don't make the Bible agree with you. Submit yourself to what the Bible says.

Jesus Christ is the: -Way -Truth -Life -Vine -Word -Light -Almighty -Resurrection -Holy One -Lord of glory -Head of the Church -Alpha & Omega -King of kings -Lord of lords -Power of God -Son of God -Lamb of God -One & ONLY Savior Repent and trust in Him alone. Christ is King!

The ultimate evil is not against people but against God. The glory of God is not honored. The holiness of God is not reverenced. The greatness of God is not admired. The power of God is not praised. The truth of God is not sought. The wisdom of God is not esteemed. The beauty of God is not treasured. The goodness of God is not savored. The faithfulness of God is not trusted. The promises of God are not relied upon. The commandments of God are not obeyed. The justice of God is not respected. The wrath of God is not feared. The grace of God is not cherished. The presence of God is not prized. The person of God is not loved.

September 30 (Wednesday — Month's Close) Dear Daughter, September closes as every true harvest does — with a full barn and an empty field, both telling the same story of faithfulness. You sowed, you were pruned, you bore fruit, you gathered. None of it was wasted. Carry the storehouse into October; let the emptied field simply rest. 'While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease' (Gen 8:22). What will you carry from this harvest season into whatever comes next? #DearDaughter #SeptemberClose #StrongMarriage
