If you've been around any trans spaces on Twitter (and possibly other social media platforms, but I don't use them so I wouldn't know) lately, you've probably noticed there's been an INSANE uptick of infighting within the community. I'm here to politely tell you all NOT to fall for that shit! It's almost entirely feds behind it. They're trying to force a disconnect between transfem/transmasc/GNC individuals to distract us from the fact we are currently on a no-stops course to the attempted genocide of every trans person, especially in places like the US. I've personally noticed a trend where this kind of online behaviour sees a steep increase the moment there's changes in legislation regarding the safety of trans people. The patterns are there. Here's my advice. Don't engage in petty fights and senseless drama online. Just block and/or ignore. This is the time where we all need to come together as a WHOLE to protect and defend ourselves & our siblings in the community, regardless of their identity or their AGAB. They know we are stronger together, and are trying to drive wedges between us to make it easier to eradicate us. It's life or death for trans people - don't put yourself or your loved ones into an early grave because you were too busy drowning yourself in made up internet bullshit to notice what's happening around you. Also, on a side note: learn self defense and basic first aid. Arm yourselves if you can. Stockpile things you might need. Stay safe.
