ምንኩስና የተጀመረው እንዴት ነበር? ከመጽሐፍ ቅዱሳዊ መነሻዎቹ ባሻገር የምንኩስናን ታሪክ ስናጠና በ4ኛው ክፍለ ዘመን እንደተጀመረ ይታወቃል:: ለሦስት መቶ ዓመታት በአሰቃቂው ዘመነ ሰማዕታት ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን መከራ ስትቀበል ክርስቲያኖችም በየቀኑ ሲገደሉ የነበረበት ዘመን ድንገት አበቃ:: በደማቸው ለመጠመቅና በሞታቸው ክብር ለመቀዳጀት የተዘጋጁ ምእመናንን ድንገት "በቃ ከእንግዲህ አትሞቱም" የሚል አዋጅ ታወጀባቸው:: ዕረፍት አገኘን ብለው የተደሰቱ እንደነበሩ ሁሉ ለሰማዕትነት ቆርጠው ለክብር አክሊል ተዘጋጅተው የነበሩ ብዙዎች ግን ድንገት ሰማዕትነት ሲቆም አዘኑ:: ከሰማዕትነት ክብር ወርደው እንደማንኛውም ሰው መኖር ከበዳቸው:: ስለዚህም በሰይፍ ባይሞቱም በፈቃዳቸው ሞተው ለክርስቶስ ሕያው ሆነው ሊኖሩ ወደ ገዳማዊ ሕይወት ወደ ምንኩስና ጎረፉ:: ይህም ክስተት ለምንኩስናና ለገዳማዊ ሕይወት ምክንያት ሆነ:: ዝቋላን በመሳሰሉ ገዳማት የሚገኙ መነኮሳት በሥጋ የሚሞቱበት ቀን ሳይደርስ በክርስቶስ ፍቅር በፈቃዳቸው የሞቱ ሐዋርያው እንዳለው "ሥጋን ከክፉ ምኞቱና መሻቱ ጋር የሰቀሉት" ናቸው:: ሰማዕትነትም ቀድመው የተመኙት ክብር ነበር:: በእነርሱ መገደል የሞትነው በእነርሱ ጸሎት ብርሃንነት የምንኖር ፣ ስንጨነቅ ከእግራቸው ሥር የምናለቅስ ፣ በዓለም ማዕበል ስንላተም በመስቀላቸው መልሕቅ ወደ ጸጥታ ወደብ የምንደርስ እኛው ነን:: ባለቆቡ ሰማዕት አባቴ ሆይ እርስዎን የገደሉ የገደሉት የእኔን ተስፋ ነው:: ሰማዕቱ መነኩሴ ሆይ በእርስዎ ሞት የተቀደደው የዕንባዬ መሐረብ ነው:: አንጀታችን በኀዘን እርር የሚለው ለእናንተ ሳይሆን ለራሳችን ነው:: ከእናንተ ጸሎት በቀር ምርኩዝ የሌለን እኛ ይለቀስልን እንጂ ለእናንተ አናለቅስም:: ቀድማችሁ የጠላችኋት ዓለም ብትጠላችሁ አይገርምም:: በፍቅርዋ ለተሸነፍን ለእኛ ግን ዕንባ ያስፈልገናል:: እውነተኛዋ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የትኛዋ እንደሆነች ፣ ዘመነ ሰማዕታትን የምትደግመዋ የክርስቶስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ማን እንደሆነች በደማችሁ ያሳያችሁ ምስክሮች ሆይ ለእኛ እንጂ ለእናንተ አናለቅስም:: የእኛን እግር ከማጠብ ፣ የእኛን ብሶት ከመስማት ፣ የእኛን የክርስትና ስም ዘወትር በጸሎት ከመጥራት ፣ እኛን ተቀብሎ ከማስተናገድ አረፍ ብላችሁ ከመነኮሳችሁለት አምላክ ዕቅፍ ስለገባችሁ አናዝንም:: የምናዝነው በተራራ ላይ ያለ መብራታችን ለጠፋብን ለእኛ ነው:: የእኛ ደብረ ታቦር ዝቋላ ሥሉስ ቅዱስ በደመና ይጋርድሽ እንጂ ምን እንላለን? ገዳምንና ገዳማውያንን መንካት የንቡን ቀፎ ማፍረስ ነው:: ቤተ ክርስቲያን ከቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ እስከ ዐቃቢት ያሉት ሁሉ በገዳም ቀፎነት የተሠሩ የማር እንጀራዎች ናቸው:: ማሩን የሚጋግሩት ንቦች ያሉት ከቀፎው ገዳም ውስጥ ነው:: የአቡየ ገብረ መንፈስ ቅዱስ የቆብ ልጆች በአስኬማ ላይ የሰማዕትነት አክሊል የደረባችሁ ቅዱሳን መነኮሳት ጸልዩልን በዙፋኑ ፊት ቆማችሁ "ቅዱስና እውነተኛ ጌታ ሆይ፥ እስከ መቼ ድረስ አትፈርድም ደማችንንስ በምድር በሚኖሩት ላይ እስከ መቼ አትበቀልም?" ብላችሁ ስለ እኛ አማልዱ:: (ራእ. 6:10) ዲያቆን ሄኖክ ኃይሌ Activate to view larger image,
