Я создала папку, в которой собрала и продолжаю собирать разные тексты, которые были написаны мной и другими коллегами в письмах-обращениях к моим зарубежным и росийским коллегам.

Dear colleague, first of all, I want to express all my solidarity with your country during the unjustifiable aggression by Russia. I think it is important in this moment that scientific and cultural ties between our countries become stronger, and that chances are given to young people to continue their scientific training as much as it is allowed by the circumstances. In Bologna we started in academic year 2021/22 an International Master Program taught in English. Some scholarship will be available for bright students. I attach a flyer. In case we have applicants from Ukraine, they will be considered with the greatest attention. In these difficult times, I hope this can be of some infinitesimal help. 🔻Brownian motion in a Euclidean space with a membrane located on a given hyperplane. 15.02, 17:00 - 18:00. by Mykola Portenko (Institute of Mathematics, NAS of Ukraine) Brownian motion in a Euclidean space with a membrane located on a given hyperplane and acting in a normal direction is constructed such that its so-called permeability coefficient can be given by an arbitrary Borel measurable function defined on that hyperplane and taking on its values from the interval [−1, +1]. In all the publications on the topic, that coefficient was supposed to be a continuous function. A certain limit theorem for the number of crossings through the membrane by a discrete approximation of the process constructed is proved. The limit distribution in that theorem can be curiously interpreted in the case of the membrane whose permeability coefficient coincides with the indicator of a measurable subset of the hyperplane Zoom link Imath event
