Thinking of my problems, I see myself struggling with stuff that are insanely simple to fix. By assertion, it goes to society as well. Like I see wives that are drifting apart from husbands, on the verge of divorce for no good reason. Husbands neglecting and harming their house due to unstable temperament, ambition and minute's decision. Hookers and whores everywhere. Good people getting mentally unhealthy and adopting some new unhealthy habits like TikTok, endless work, booze, "living my life". Those habits keeping them from connecting with family and friends, and gradually feel lonely. That sucks them into even more further unhealthy habits. After deliberately analysing my problems, I come to the conclusion that every of them are chalked up to modernity, and they boil down into depression and the attendant addictions I use to cope. Lots of symptoms being misdiagnosed as the root cause. In every case, the obvious answer is to break the addiction and experience your pain head-on, reconnect with others and they will help you find purpose again. None of us are immune to this stuff. Gotta stay humble and vigilant. Keep an eye on your people and have the courage to speak up with some tough love, and also listen when someone tells you that you yourself have a problem. Thing is that lonely people will resist like hell when you try to reach out. It feels like all the work of the relationship is one-sided when you're constantly bugging someone to socialize with you and they keep flaking. I've seen it even with the people I thought are my own. Gotta think much about it, but I think there's a clear and manageable path to fixing all this.

Before "dating culture" and the widespread prevalance of fornication, lots of the little quirks and funny, embarrassing realities about relationships between men and women were private stuff that you enjoyed with your spouse and was inappropriate to bring up in public. This added a layer of intrigue that enriched romance and made it more engaging for men over time. Today, it's all aired out and discussed in the open, one of the reasons today that romance seems like this cheap performative thing. Couple this with social media and now it's somehow become commonplace for people to discuss, even if not personally, very intimate details about their romantic relationships which would have been seen as ridiculous to bring up even in small gatherings ages ago. You also can't bring this up without obviously mentioning that it's allowing women in these public spheres like the internet which blew this up exponentially, since even today it's mostly them that do this. Make of that what you will. Secrecy makes romance more worthwhile. Lots of what people today associate with it being "exhausting" is the fact they know all their moves are predicted, discussed, and now thanks to modern androgynous psychosis, *expected* of you often beyond your range as a man or woman.
