Rationalization, not reason, is what drives the modern Western man. I am convinced of this now, having just listened to the White House's architect of anti-Russian sanctions, Daleep Singh. Everything coming out of his mouth is either wishful thinking, cope, or an euphemism ("economic statecraft"). Old-fashioned Communists trained to talk like this — which Orwell mocked with Newspeak — because they thought this made them sound smart and precluded "bad" thinking. These woke cultists are doing the same thing, for the same reason, fanatical in their belief that they can change words and with that, shape the world itself. They can't be argued with, because they will just twist words and "circle back" to where they are correct. And if you use brute force, they will accuse you of being "mean" and "thuggish" and "oppressive" and claim the sacred mantle of victimhood. For as long as they can get away with it. Until the people who are sick and tired of their 💩stop caring.

Putin has just painted a picture for EUropean chihuahuas what would happen if they encourage "long-range precision strikes deep in Russian territory" — by noting they are mainly "small countries very densely populated." Yet it will fall on deaf ears, because I don't think even he understands the depth of idiocy and degeneracy in the West these days. They literally have to have things spelled out to them as if they were five-year-olds, because that is their mental level. And that could be giving them too much credit. Let's be honest, the entire "Oh poor Ukraine could not break up the Russian attack on Kharkov because the US would not allow it to strike Russian territory" is both cope and nonsense. They had no such problem launching rockets on civilians in Belgorod or drones on refineries. They didn't target Russian assembly areas because they didn't want to, because there was no PR in that, because it was too hard. I just hope Russia has a plan to deal with GAE escalation beyond stern warnings that no one seems to bother with.

Georgia has overridden the president's veto and passed the Foreign Agents Law, having previously told the US and the EU to stick their threats where the sun doesn't shine. Earlier today, Salvadorean President Nayib Bukele told an American congressman to mind his own business: You're “deeply disturbed” because we moved a painting a couple of meters to a nicer place in OUR AIRPORT? We are a sovereign nation, and we will display our artwork wherever we see fit. You are overstepping your bounds. The world is slowly waking up to the fact that the bully has no power over them if they don't allow it.

The Kremlin has denounced a Reuters report — which used anonymous sources — that Russia is ready for a ceasefire along the current frontline as fake news. While I'm the first to admit Reuters and AP tend to be GAE propaganda on a good day, it's entirely possible that an overzealous editor read something into boilerplate Russian statements, which are entirely too nuanced, shall we say, for the average Westerner. What we've got, once again, is a failure to communicate.

The "Srebrenica genocide resolution" got 84 votes in the UN General Assembly (out of 193 member states!), mainly from the GAE bloc and Muslim countries. While only 19 countries outright opposed it — and I applaud their courage — 68 abstained, realizing that the resolution was a cynical trap by the "rules-based world order." The fake resolution is null and void and should be treated as such. Those who fell for it are chumps who prioritized one set of religious loyalties (to Bosnian Muslims) over truth, logic, state and even religious interests, helping the GAE distract from the plight of their co-religionists in Gaza. So be it. "The wolf has a right to a sheep as a tyrant to a man who's weak."

I am in awe at how utterly unaware the Globalist American Empire seems to be. They celebrated the ICC when it "indicted" Putin last year — only to denounce it for daring to investigate Israel. They condemn the UNGA resolution supporting statehood for Palestine because it would be "unilateral" and not a result of negotiations with Israel. Yet as Russia just pointed out, they backed the unilateral secession of "Kosovo" and didn't care for negotiations or even UN decisions. And now they'

A Russian soldier with the callsign "Magpie" (Сорока) has told a crazy story that is just crazy enough it might be true: He and a colleague were wounded during an attack and jumped into a basement to bandage themselves, only to be captured by seven Ukrainian soldiers huddling there already. The squad had apparently lost communication with their unit, so three of his captors left the basement to link up with command. 'Magpie' figured out that the remaining four had been mobilized and did not really want to fight, so he persuaded them to surrender to the Russians instead, thus morphing from captive to captor. It's almost too good to be true. But who knows?

I did not expect the Turks to be the first NATO member to embrace "cope cages" on tanks (improvised drone protection screens) but they appear to be more pragmatic than people give them credit for, so.

Couple more Posobiec bangers from today: - "In democracy 2.0 the demos is replaced by the kratia." - "Now some Americans might say that Zelensky is illegitimate bc Ukraine hasn’t held a real election since 2019 but then again we haven’t held once since 2016."
