They can't be argued with, because they will just twist words and "circle back" to where they are correct. And if you use brute force, they will accuse you of being "mean" and "thuggish" and "oppressive" and claim the sacred mantle of victimhood. For as long as they can get away with it. Until the people who are sick and tired of their 💩stop caring.

A Russian soldier with the callsign "Magpie" (Сорока) has told a crazy story that is just crazy enough it might be true: He and a colleague were wounded during an attack and jumped into a basement to bandage themselves, only to be captured by seven Ukrainian soldiers huddling there already. The squad had apparently lost communication with their unit, so three of his captors left the basement to link up with command.
