A collection of some of the dark, imaginative & classical artwork I love and wish to archive. You're welcome to join me. Art like all great things must enthral the mind, often from emotive places of sadness, resulting in magnificence.

Repost from Vinnie Sullivan
The grave of Fernand Arbelot, a French actor and musician who requested that he looked into into the eyes, and upon the face
The grave of Fernand Arbelot, a French actor and musician who requested that he looked into into the eyes, and upon the face of his beloved wife forever. What I see here when observing his death is that he achieved happiness in life.

Upcoming Pub/History Walking Tour Manchester 🗓 22nd August 👥 Deansgate Station: (Knott Mill Building) Whitworth Street West+4
Upcoming Pub/History Walking Tour Manchester 🗓 22nd August 👥 Deansgate Station: (Knott Mill Building) Whitworth Street West / Deansgate Exit (Directly opposite the Atlas Bar) 🕦 11 AM @PubHistoryTours Please share and make others aware. Manchester transformed from a modest Roman settlement called Mamucium into the world's first industrialized city during the Victorian era. Propelled by the global cotton trade and inventions like steam power, it became a powerhouse of wealth and innovation before successfully reinventing itself in the 21st century as a modern city. Each tour lasts roughly between 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or more) and will include several pubs Prices: £20 per person (for over 18s), 16-18: £10 Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult) Ps. Thank you all so much for all of your custom and support. It means the absolute world to me. 🤝

Upcoming Pub/History Walking Tour (#KENT) pubandhistorywalkingtours.com Rochester, Kent 🚶‍♂️🚶🚶‍♀️ 🗓 27th June (SATURDAY) 👥 Rochester Station 🕦 11 AM With @PubHistoryTours Rochester, the historic port town in Medway, Kent, is one of my favourite places in the world. Famed for its Norman castle, ancient cathedral, and deep connections to Charles Dickens, the town offers a charming High Street filled with independent shops and annual festivals. From Roman walls to homes that housed kings of England, there's far too much to talk about in this small town than I have room to type. Direct, frequent services run via Southeastern and Thameslink. Fast trains from London St Pancras International take about 40 minutes. Each tour lasts roughly between 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or more) and will include several pubs Prices: £20 per person (for over 18s), 16-18: £10 Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult) Ps. The extraordinarily beautiful, impressive, and outer worldly nave of Canterbury Cathedral (the organically Catholic cathedral that is now the mother church of the Anglican Communion) is a masterpiece of English Perpendicular Gothic architecture. Built between 1377 and 1405 under master mason Henry Yevele, it remains one of the largest and most awe-inspiring halls from medieval Europe. It's perfect symmetry and vast size leave one in a trance of wonderment. Be you religious or not, simply from an artistic perspective, this is something to be cherished and protected. There is no need to debate as to whether we should swap modernity for architectural brilliance when we have examples such as this to prove our point.
