Keiji Uematsu - Horizontal Position, 1973

Vico Magistretti, Atollo Metal, 1977 The Atollo Metal lamp designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977 explores the balance between essential and decorative within it’s geometric form. The use of the cone and half sphere shape creates this sense of serene balance as well as fragility working alongside the light that reflects off of the aluminum. Overall the design doesn’t allude to any time period keeping the design popular as well as easily recognisable.
