ትምህርት ክፍሉ 4ኛውን አገር አቀፍ ኮንፈረንስ አካሄደ (ግንቦት 16 /2016 ዓ.ም ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ) የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሥርዓተ-ፆታ እና ልማት ጥናቶች ትምህርት ክፍል 4ኛውን አገር አቀፍ ኮንፈረንስ ከተለያዩ የአገሪቱ ክፍሎች የተውጣጡ ፅሁፍ አቅራቢዎችና ምሁራን በተገኙበት በቀድሞው ሰኔት አዳራሽ አካሄደ፡፡ ኮንፈረንሱን በንግግር የከፈቱት የትምህርት ክፍሉ ኃላፊ ዶ/ር መሰረት ዘውዱ ለኮንፈረንሱ መሳካት ጉልህ አስተዋፅኦ ላበረከቱ እንዲሁም የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ላደረጉ የጤና ቢሮና ፕላን ኢንተርናሽናል ኢትዮጵያን ላቅ ያለ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል፡፡ ዶ/ር መሰረት አክለውም የኮንፍረንሱ ዓላም በሴቶች ላይ የሚታየውን ወሲባዊ ብዝበዛ፣ የጤና ችግር፣ የሚፈፀሙ በደሎችና ትንኮሳዎችን ለመቅረፍ በሚቀርቡት ፅሁፎች መነሻነት ሁሉም የበኩሉን ድርሻ መወጣት የሚያስችል ሁኔታ ለመፍጠር ታልሞ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል፡፡ በተጨማሪም ፅሁፍ አቅራቢዎች ለጉዳዩ ትኩረት ሰጥተው ለማቅረብ ስለተዘጋጁ ምስጋና አቅርበዋል ዶ/ር መሰረት፡፡ የኮንፈረንሱን ቁልፍ መልዕክት ያስተላለፉት የአመልድ ኢትዮጵያ ምክትል ዋና ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ሽብሬ ጆርጋ ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለጉዳዩ ትኩረት ሰጥቶ ይህን ኮንፈረንስ ማዘጋጀቱን አመስግነው ያለፈ ታሪክ ፍለጋ ሳንሄድ አሁን በቅርቡ የተከሰተውን በአገሪቱ የፀጥታ ችግር ምክንያት በርካታ እናቶችና ህፃናት ከመኖሪያ ቀያቸው ተፈናቅለው ባሉበት፤ በጎዳና ላይ ነፍሰጡር እናቶች ወልደው ያለምንም ድጋፍና እንክብካቤ ሲንገላቱ ከማየት በላይ የሚከብድ ነገር አለመኖሩን ተናግረዋል፡፡ ዳይሬክተሯ አክለውም የኮንፈረንሱ መካሄድ የፆታ እኩልነት የሚለው ፅንሰ ሃሳብ ወደ ተግባር የሚቀየርበትና ያለውን ችግር ሁሉም ተረባርቦ ይቀርፍ ዘንድ የማንቂያ ደወል መሆኑን አስገንዝበዋል፡፡ ፅሁፍ አቅራቢዎችም ከባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ፤ ከሌሎች ዩኒቨርሲቲዎችና ተቋማት የተውጣጡ ሲሆኑ Overview of Plan International Ethiopia ጨምሮ Assessment of Humanitarian Response to IDPs for Durable Solution in Amhara Region፣ Psychosocial Challenges and resilience of Internally Displaced Persons: In Reference to Tehuledere Wereda South Wollo Zone፣ Challenges and Living Conditions of Women Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Amhara Region;A Case: Study of IDPs Sheltered in Debre Birhan Collectiv IDP sites፣ Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment in IDPs sites in Amhara Region፡A victim- Centered Approach፣ Health Services Utilization and Associated Factors among Internally Displaced persons in South Woiio Zone, North-Eastern Ethiopia እና The health System Responsiveness (HSR) of the Healthcare Facilitiies in Conflict-affected Areas in Amhara Region የተሰኙ ርዕሰ ጉዳዮች ቀርበው ውይይት ተካሂዷል፡፡

Institutional Memory! Academy of Pedagogy in its formative years had two programs, bachelor degree program in Pedagogical Sciences and TTI programs upon which degree program students were intended to have teaching practice experiences. This was a text book prepared by Asrat Wolde under the Ministry of Education and Fine Arts for primary schools which TTI trainees were expected to be adapted with the craft of leather product design and making.
