The title of this talk it "Radiesthesia and Thought" and its endeavor is to associate the two in an understandable relationship. A summary of the suggested relationship is: 1. The stimulation, by conscious attention or subconsciously by the essential simplicity, of stores sets of co-ordinates, preprogrammed as the heritage of the human species, or individually acquired from experience, directs the whole of our living activity. 2. We were designed as systems of boundaries and energies, but these can become modified into barriers and stresses. Barriers and stresses result from failure to accept the direction of the essential simplicity and from endeavoring to extend our activities beyond the limits of design. 3. Radiesthesia detects boundaries and/or barriers. It can, therefore, be used to measure the difference between a boundary and a barrier, and this could represent a degree of ill health. 4. In an inanimate electronic system such as a television receiver, a boundary has become a barrier, once it has been correctly measured, may be temporarily restored by the injection of the appropriate "corrective message" in the form of a pattern of supplementary electric potentials. 5. In man, a boundary which has become a barrier, once it is correctly measure, may be treated with the appropriate corrective message. 6. The universal field interacts with the local field, which is the measurable and quantifiable. The relationship between these two gives rise to the phenomenon known as emissions due to forms. However, these emissions due to forms, originating in the universal field, cannot be considered as waves of any sort. They are not “energies” as we traditionally understand them, but emissions from a field whose nature cannot be expressed in values or measurements. They are states which may, for example, be detectable through the Hebrew alphabet. I highly recommend the work of Joel Wendt. He calls out a lot of the hypocrisies clouding anthroposophy and western esoteric stream in general, while offering very practical advice on how to move forward. I hold a lot of similar sentiments he expressed what a joke the society is compared to its original impulse. Wendt has put much of his Anthroposophical focus onto the realm of social phenomena. America is to develop its own form of anthroposophy, which extends beyond Steiner as the major frame of reference ... Emerson and Coleridge were Anthroposophists way before Steiner. Anthroposophy is a specific method that yields the content of spiritual science. American should develop anthroposophy with symbolic knowing of the consciousness soul in contrast to the intellectual soul towards which much of Steiner's work was written in order to cater to the development of the European consciousness. England and America are to engage in living thinking by working through our own culture. Steiner presented varying paths to freedom from Philosohy of Freedom (developing true Goethean cognition), How to Know Higher Worlds ( 6 basic exercises and various meditations, First Class), then there is the Reverse Cultus which is the opposite approach he laid out in KOHW. Learning Steiners perspectives and indications is one thing but the societies constantly reliance on preferring Steiner quotes over their own living thinking. This, Wendt claims, has been the death of the anthroposphy society in general. There are many types of magickal streams that intertwine, but he summarized as being pagan and Wiccan style practices that borrow power from higher beings, usually at a cost; "proper magic" like Franz Bardon where you manipulate your environment from your own power without depleting your health; Holy Magick (petitioning, prayer or independently gaining the God's attention from.your personal affairs ... no powers are sought.
