My mourning over Ted was very unexpected, the last time I felt something over the death of a person I never met was when Michael Jackson died (Inb4 MJ was awesome, not black and murdered by the CIA for inventing a cure for blackness). In the poll asking if he was a terrorist or a freedom fighter only 16 people out of 272 voted for terrorist. Why? Because the dividing line between the two is if the person is being denied his human rights to be heard and participate in the institutiona that tell us how to live. And Ted articulated very well how technology is taking agency away from us, tricking us to trade privacy for convenience, therefore the system is not being adapted to our wellbeing anymore, we are being conivent and changing ourselves to fulfill the needs of the system. You claim to be free bc there's no chains on your feet and have a vast land to roam around, yet you don't see the fences limiting you, imprisoning you because you're entertained by the system's toys.
