aosp mainline now works also on the other mi8937 devices... display didn't work in before due to some stupid mistakes

A\ says barely any related code got changed between 23.2 and 24, and I don't have it working anymore even on 23.2 ROM, so perhaps it's not ROM sided issue, it's just my carriers killing support for the old devices further..? 😭 anyways, I'll remove it from "Known Issues" starting from the next build, but that doesn't mean the issue really got fixed, though

Random reboot issue (which came from upstream) seems to be fixed already in the September 2026 build, btw

The random reboot issue on recent builds is due to a recent kernel merge from LineageOS/android_kernel_qcom_sm8250. Will do rebuild when there is fix available. (Other devices which merged that have got the same issue also)

also btw, you guys can see this on the Known Issues here: - No service on the SIM slot which is not the Mobile data slot that would be another reason to NOT to ship official LineageOS 24

Official LineageOS support for Mi8917/Mi8937/Mi439 is about to be dropped, because I have (already) broke these LineageOS rules: - Devices MUST have a working proprietary files extraction script in their device tree (or device tree dependencies) that reproduces an exact copy of the binaries required to build LineageOS from an existing LineageOS installation. - Maintainers MUST own the device or at least a variant of it (devices with similar hardware but a different marketing name are allowed). If anyone can resolve these, welcome to bring back the official support
