It is centered on the wealthy, seemingly perfect Sinclair family, who spend every summer sitting gathered on their private island. However, not every summer is the same…. 🧷“Ready player one” by Ernest Cline It tells a story of individual achievement and success, yet it also highlights the importance of alliances, teamwork, and community. #books

Uninterested vs. disinterested 📌Uninterested = bored / not interested in something When I have my phone with me, I’m uninterested in studying. 📌Disinterested = objective / not taking a side in an argument The judge at the court must be disinterested to make a fair decision. #vocabulary

📚 What books to read in English? Reading in a foreign language can greatly boost your writing skills as well as contribute to expanding your range of vocabulary. Don’t underestimate reading activities outside the sessions. 📌 If your level is A1-A2 here are some books you might enjoy reading as a beginner: 🟣 “Looking for Alaska” by John Green The book is about teenage boy Miles Halter. The book covers multiple themes, like searching for the meaning of life, grief, loneliness, friendship, and more. 🟣 “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes This is an extremely touching love story that might make you cry. Its characters are flawed, which makes them much more appealing and realistic. 🟣 “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone” by J.K. Rowling Harry Potter books make for a great introduction to the English language. Written for children and young adults, the language is somewhat simple, making the books accessible for people with a low level of English.
