Duʿāʾ to recite when visiting the graveyard
Sulaymān ibn Buayda narrated on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to teach them when they went out to the graveyard:
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ
[As-salāmu ʿalaykum ahla d-diyāri mina l-muʾminīna wa-l-muslimīn, wa innā in shāʾa Allāhu bikum lāḥiqūn, nasʾalu Allāha lanā wa lakumu l-ʿāfiyah]
"Peace be upon you, people of this abode, from among the believers and those who are Muslims, and we, by the Will of Allāh, shall be joining you. I ask Allah to grant us and you well-being."

The Muʾadhdhin of Masjid al-Ḥarām, Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī, passed away in the early hours of Monday 11th Rabīʿ ath-Thānī [21st of September].
Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī was born in Madīnah in 1397 AH, where he began his journey to become a Muʾadhdhin at the age of 15. He was formally appointed to perform the ʾAdhān in the Holy Masjid in 1439 AH. He performed his final ʾAdhān over a month ago.
His funeral prayer was held after Asr ṣalāḥ at the Masjid al-Ḥarām.

NFL star Azeez Al-Shaair wore eye tape in tribute to Wafaa Akila, an 8 year-old girl who was killed earlier this month in a targeted airstrike by Isr*eli forces while returning home with her father after her first day of school.
Last week, Al-Shaair was fined $11,492 by the NFL after wearing eye tape in tribute to 5 year-old Hind Rajab, who was also killed by Isr*eli occupation forces.

In fact, We have brought them the truth, and they are certainly liars.
Allāh has never had any offspring, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what he created, and they would have tried to dominate one another. Glorified is Allah above what they claim!
He is the Knower of the seen and unseen. Exalted is He above what they associate with Him.

At least 17 people were killed and dozens more injured after a powerful suicide blast struck a mosque during Friday prayers in Kohat district, northwestern Pakistan, officials said.
The explosion took place at a mosque near the old Police Lines in Kohat, around 60 kilometres southwest of Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

NBA star Kyrie Irving has offered to pay Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair’s $11,942 fine after the NFL punished him for writing the name of a Palestinian girl killed in Gaza on his eye black during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Al-Shaair wore the message “Hind Rajab” on his eye tape in remembrance of the six-year-old Palestinian girl who was murdered by occupation forces in Gaza.

🚨Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair has been fined $11,492 by the NFL after wearing eye black inscribed with the name “Hind Rajab”, honouring the five-year-old Palestinian girl murdered by occupation forces in Gaza in January 2024.
Hind was trapped inside a car after Isr*eli forces opened fire on the vehicle. Investigations have documented more than 355 rounds fired at the car, which was found riddled with bullet holes.
This is not the first time Al-Shaair has been fined for speaking out. Earier this year in January, the NFL fined him $11,593 after he wore “Stop the Genocide” on his eye black during a playoff game.

Sheeran and Macklemore have been friends for more than 13 years, making the decision particularly controversial.

Rapper Macklemore has been removed from the remaining U.S. dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour after speaking out in support of Palestine.
During his September 4 performance at MetLife Stadium, Macklemore told the crowd that a major reason he wanted to join the tour was to use the platform to say “Free Palestine.” He also expressed solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank and performed his protest song Hind’s Hall while images of destruction in Gaza were displayed.
His comments sparked backlash from several pro-Isr*aeli groups, which launched a petition calling for his removal from the tour. According to tour promoter Messina Touring Group, multiple venues later informed organisers that they would not allow concerts featuring Macklemore to go ahead.
Macklemore later said that he and Sheeran had “difficult conversations” following the controversy. He alleged that stadium owners had pressured Sheeran to remove him, while Sheeran has not publicly commented on the decision.
