This is what I took today using my phone. Though I was unable to capture what I hoped to capture, I thought some of the pictures were kinda cool.
The ones with the dark sky is when I put the solar glasses over the camera lense.
Do y'all have anything to share? Pictures? Experiences? Insights? Questions? Revelations? Conspiracy theories?
Or did you just marvel at what God created like we did? 😊

This is very true. I’ve been thinking a lot about how the most canceled people are all funny. Humor is your emotional immune system and it releases trauma. There are people who want to build trauma in the population until people collapse or explode. Humor releases that. Demons hate humor.
No other factor has made sense as to who gets the most extreme economic persecution in America right now. Its wildly disproportionate against funny people with an audience who raise morale and release stress.

I've said it before:
"If you are an adult who enjoys mingling among Polite Society, you absolutely cannot take me anywhere with you. Weddings, baby showers, church services, office meetings, a colonoscopy, your kid’s play -I will be making jokes."
It makes sense why there's a Comedy Wednesday -we need humor! God has given so many of us not just a wonderful sense of humor, but the desire to be silly, playful -and in my case, thoroughly goofballedness.
Finding ways to laugh every day should be right up there with breathing. (And eating cookies.)

Ephesians 4:22-24
To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

... they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31)

I feel like I’m living in Biblical Times. Between seeing what I imagine Noah witnessed as he built the Ark, to the happenings in the heavens, to my Miracle Felix… It’s getting all kinds of Biblical-y* out there.
*Not to be confused with Biblically (😃)
It certainly feels like things are getting uglier, grosser, scarier. Makes sense. We live in a world in revolt against God.
Yet, this is God’s Earth, this is His creation (Psalm 24:1; Psalm 50:12; Psalm 89:11). He wants us know Him and draw close to Him through what He created for our enjoyment.
While the world wobbles, we wait on Him.
And enjoy the colors, complexity, constellation, composition, and cornucopia of His countless creations.
Let’s wonder and marvel over His masterpieces!

This Good Friday felt different. Did it for you?
Typically, I spend Good Friday feeling a bit melancholy. This time I felt heartened, purposeful, bold, resolute!
Throughout the day I marveled over God’s uncompromising, agape love -that He would give us Jesus. I reflected on the obedient, servant heart of Jesus. And I embraced the Heavenly power that resurrected the Name above all names.
It was a day to give glory and thanks, and to be excited that we are His heirs to all the wondrous and miraculous He gifts!
Because of Christ’s Passion, because of His Resurrection, God has given His children divine power to call forth (and to rebuke) in the precious name of Jesus. I exercised this divine right as His forgiven, blessed heir. I asked Him to heal, and I asked for His courage, wisdom, and peace. I thanked Him for all the good things He has done and will do.
I would tell my friends to be bold! Ask Him to shape your heart, ask Him for healing, ask for the impossible, and ask for Him to fill you with His courage, wisdom and peace. Bold prayers –asking for His help and expecting it– is one important way we demonstrate our gratitude for what Jesus accomplished for us.
