We are being pressed on every side. Family life, work life, church life. Strained relationships, health woes, financial stress. Yesterday’s event is traumatizing. Adding to the tension are crimes in our own backyard and witnessing the injustice abroad. It’s easy to point to scriptures, encouraging others to follow excellent advice:

This is it. It’s the very last challenge for this year long endeavor we’ve been on together. What I post today was originally planned for last week’s challenge. However, the LORD re-directed those plans. And now I understand why.

Challenge #52

Charlie Kirk asked Tucker, "How do we de-radicalize the country in the next couple of years?" The answer: By proclaiming Jesus, rejecting attempts to de-humanize our opponents on the other side, loving people into healing and restoration, and doing the thing that Kirk did best—calmly and respectfully engaging people who think differently than us.

Charlie Kirk was not killed; he was murdered -he was assassinated. We don't make peace with Evil; with God's help, we destroy it. I pray for the backbone of every Believer throughout the world to straighten, look Evil in the face, and declare it defeated in the name of Christ. Authority has been given to us and we can call down Christ's army in the name of Jesus. All of us are sick of the carnage, tired of the complicity, outraged over the injustice. We may not have Big Social Media Platforms; we may not preach from a pulpit; we may not travel on missions to foreign places; we may not have books and podcasts published; we do not have the ear of those in authority. What we have is a relationship with King of Kings and LORD of Lords. And that is EVERYTHING! In your living room, while driving, or sitting with your cup of warm, pray. Pray like you've never prayed before. Prayer is our weapon, God is our Leader, Christ is our Savior. Stay tuned. More to come...

The Bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear (See 2 Timothy 1:7). If fear is attatched to something in our lives and we know that a spirit of fear is not from God, then who is it from? The devil. And if the devil took the time to cause fear to be attatched to something in our lives - we need to ask: why? Fear cripples. Fear stops. Fear interferes. Fear torments. God's Spirit says: "fear not." The Bible - the Word of God - says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (See Philippians 4:13). When I was a child I struggled with laziness and procrastination. I remember crying out to God to help me change. Today, I am very diligent. I am circumspect. I live for God on purpose. God always had that intent for me - He created me to be diligent. I appeared to be lazy as a child, but by God's grace I broke through and came out diligent. Just recently the Lord shocked me by uncovering something I never thought was available to me. Something I didn't even consider because I thought I wasn't able. Ah, again we come to the Word of God: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.. Do we perceive that all means all? This is where meditating on the Word of God is so helpful. "I can do all things, all things, all things, all things, through Christ who strengthens me!!" Do you see the word: strengthens? It's plural. It indicates that we are continually being strengthened in all the things that we go to Him to receive strength for. My friends, may I encourage you to bring all the things that you think you're weak in - to the Lord and ask Him to have the final say? Ask Him to do with your life as He wants to do. Give Him access. You'll be amazed at what your life will turn out to be - what it will look like, if you'll surrender it all to Him. There is no safer, worthier place to give our lives then into the hands of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let's pray. Lord Jesus, how wonderful You are. How awesome You are! How loving You are! You truly do make all things new. I pray Lord, that all those reading this will receive grace to open themselves up and just let You in. That they would let You in to every place in their hearts and their lives. We don't know how to do all things Lord, and we don't have to. We just need to know how to come to You, Jesus, and do all things through You, as You strengthen us in the doing. How wonderful! Thank You Lord. Thank You for lives changed, and  fruit reaped by allowing You to have Your way in our lives. Thank You Lord that the lies of the enemy are exposed and brought to nothing in the lives of those that surrender to You. Thank You Jesus! We need our souls restored and that comes with rest. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Challenge #51

I know, I know, it's early 👆🏼 I typically post after midnight my time (central). But, I may start posting a little bit earlier than that -and not just to get the party started 😏 If you've been around here for awhile or know me in Real Life then you know I was born a Night Owl. However, the good LORD has been working on me in an amazing way: shifting my Stay Up Late Clock. Though I do stay up late at times, I've made some incredible strides since January, thanks to Him. While I don't foresee myself ever being a Morning Person (goodness, I respect y'all 🫡 ) I've been pleasantly surprised at this new direction in my life. But, God works like that, doesn't He? Not only does He do things that amazes us, He does it with a graciousness and patience that actually sweeps us off our feet. And I firmly believe He does it with a smile and chuckle.
