We live on one of the most beautiful continents in the world. The assorted bounty of plants and animals is magnificent. The mixture of landscapes are awe-inspiring, the views are breathtaking. The culture, the food, the music, and the dialect of each state is quite diverse, yet we’re still connected to our fellow countrymen. From iconic images of red barns to lighthouses; from flashing neon lights to uncharted wildernesses; and from beaches to mountains with prairies and deserts in between –our land has been blessed.

The 4th Psyop Group has posted a new video. This is the same group which posted the “Ghost In The Machine” video. They are a legitimate Army Unit, btw. These aren’t videos made by fans. These are official 4th Psyop Group videos. Link to new vid: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CuNy74nMiS-/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Link to Ghost In The Machine vid: https://youtu.be/VA4e0NqyYMw

I debated whether or not to post this today as we are heading into a beloved holiday. Obviously, I decided that this is worth bringing to your attention now. Back in April, we talked a little bit about the video put out by the US Army, Ghosts in The Machine, here and here. There is much speculation about exactly who is behind it, what does it mean for us. The group behind Ghosts in The Machine, 4thpsyopgroup, has released another video. The description from their Instagram page: "With industry leading technology and personnel the 4th Psychological Operations Group has the distinct ability to be everywhere. Soldiers in this environment support countries all over the world." Couple this with the Sound of Freedom being released... Well, I'm encouraged! I'll post some commentary others lend in the new video post 👇🏻

Thank you for the beautiful comment, Blue screen. The acknowledgment is appreciated. I would humbly add that I am grateful for all the faithful men and women who are fasting, praying, interceding for our country, for our families. The Lord hears!

I spy with my little eye something interesting on Trump’s baseball cap. Doesn’t read as 45 and 47; it reads as 45 through 47.
+1
I spy with my little eye something interesting on Trump’s baseball cap. Doesn’t read as 45 and 47; it reads as 45 through 47. I’ve also noted at the last several speeches there has been no golden fringe on the stage flags.

TM: From October 2022 - We know that the January 6th committee wants to charge Trump with leading an insurrection, stating that he’s made seditious comments. Trump made a statement that they should give back his stolen election or put him on the ballot. They see his recent comments as an attempted coup.

It is easy to get to complaining or dwell on how this or that isn’t fair. However, there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for so please remember those things. No one was injured or killed. We did not sustain any building damages. We had a generator. We had others praying for us, and we had friends offer to lend a hand. Moreover, we had YOU to come back to when we were able. A quirky home on our corner of The Internet. From The Long Winter: "Don't complain, Laura!" Ma told her quickly. "Never complain of what you have. Always remember you are fortunate to have it." I ever so humbly submit that sometimes we are fortunate to not have it, too, and I am grateful.

19) Do you have water stored just for hygienic needs? If the power goes out sometimes it effects the local water treatment plant and you may have little to no water pressure, and/or you may receive a boil notice. Keeping the body clean is crucial to staying healthy during a crisis. Have a ways to meet these important needs. 20) Store water ahead of time. If you receive a boil notice, and you have no way to heat water, you will be able to tap into your reserves. 21) There are different types of water and methods for storing. For example, we have filtered water stored in five-gallon buckets. These are used for cooking and hygiene. We have a few buckets of tap water. These are used for outside purposes/rinsing off tools, etc. –anything that will not go on or in our bodies. We have store bought water bottles, five-gallon water jugs, 2 gallon jugs with a spout, emergency water packets, Life Straws and a bathtub bladder that can be filled if given notice. 22) Know how you are going to stay on top of your personal needs. What do YOU need in order to stay relatively sane during a challenging time? Do you need alone time? Activities to keep your hands busy or your mind occupied. Make a list of what YOU need and make sure you have enough supplies and/or a way to see that activity accomplished. 23) I recommend installing battery operated light mounts. These lights do not require special tools or maintenance, and there are so many different options available. For example, you can have a steady light on or a motion-sensor. It can stay on for a few seconds or a have an/off switch. Dimmer, no dimmer. You get the idea. We have some installed under the upper kitchen cabinets and these lights incredibly useful during power outages. 24) Not that you could, but do not forget to consider the needs of your pet(s). Bunny got antsy, restless and I reckon not much sleep. She is used to spending time outside her cage with us, but for her safety, we moved her cage into our bathroom and did not let her out. We had plenty of hay and treats for her, and we prayed over her. 25) During all of this, I kept thinking back to Laura Ingalls’s book, The Long Winter. How Laura, “felt stupid and numb.” I felt like that a few times, suspecting the heat was getting to me. At one point I looked over at my teens and they too had looks of, “stupid and numb” on their faces. I told them I would do some schoolwork with them and they eagerly took to it! We did a variety of things as a family and there were times we were quietly doing our own thing. Overall, I am glad that my kids are not dependent on gadgets and modern distractions. They are creative and silly and that makes my heart happy.

15) I highly suggest if you’ve been putting off getting a procedure or taking care of something minor, get it done as soon as possible (of course, I am NOT advocating you take the vaccine to get something done). If you can afford it and have just being procrastinating, get it done. In a long(er) term power outage you may regret not getting it taken care of. Most harsh events catch us unaware. Even the best laid plans and preps will not keep us from being affected, shaken, discomfited. 16) Do what you can now to heal emotionally, mentally, spiritually. You are going to need to be stable, strong, smart. Holding a grudge? Trouble forgiving? Bring it to God. Need reconciliation, healing? Bring it to God. Do not hesitate. Let Him start working on cleansing your mind, your heart, and renewing your hope through Christ. 17) Do your best to stay on top of chores. Yes, we all put-off, drag our feet, avoid. I am referring to those “out of control” messes. When the power is out, you do not want to be stumbling over and looking at those piles of stuff. It is a mental drain and possible physical hazard. Do you have a tiny project around the house that needs finishing? Make it a priority to finish it. Have you wanted to print something out or buy that prepper’s book? Get it done. Weed, plant, trim, paint, repair. You will not regret getting it done. 18) Obviously, the season will dictate many of your needs. If it is hot, do you have way to keep relatively cool? If it is cold, do you have a way to keep relatively warm? Whichever scenario you do not prefer (some cannot tolerate the chill, some cannot tolerate the heat) is the one you should consider seriously preparing for.

6) OPSEC, Operational Security, is necessary. All this means is you do not tell others what you have, how much and where it is stashed. Your circle of trust should be very, very tiny. If you have young children/grandchildren they do not need details. If your teens are smart and can keep a secret, consider showing them the ropes. 7) Do not assume your neighbors are on the same page as you. (If they follow OPSEC, you will not know their preps.) However, you can still find like-minded folks in your neighborhood. (Still, be cautious sharing what preps you have.) What you’re looking for is mutually beneficial arrangements; others who wish to protect their neighborhood, too. 8) You should know which neighbors are helpful, which ones want to be left alone and which ones have no skills or preps. Keep a mental note of these assessments as you do not want the unprepared, do-gooders and clueless forming any kind of committee or group to take charge in a grid-down situation. Are you willing to step-up to be the voice of reason and common sense in a crisis? Are there others you can nominate then assist? 9) Do not compare your household/situation to your neighbors or friends. We are not always privy to why some do this or that. We will not have what they have or have access to what they have, and vice versa. Some people are stingy, some are generous. Some are concerned, some are clueless. Some will forget to check in on you, follow up with news you shared or generally be polite. Some will ignore your texts or questions. Try not to take it personally. Focus on what your household needs first; then help others, if you are able to safely do so. And always remember to apply OPSEC. 10) Nothing screams, “Hey we have a generator!” like a running, gasoline powered generator. Do you have other means for heating, cooling, cooking, charging and the like? Do you have a way to keep that method protected from weather, curious people, or damages? Do you have enough fuels? Do you have different fuels or energy sources such as different size batteries, candles, kerosene, gasoline, solar chargers? 11) Do you have different ways to cook food? Charcoal or gas grill? Being able to eat a warm meal once a day goes a long way to keeping morale up. 12) Having well-rounded preps is necessary. While we cannot prepare for everything, it makes the most sense to diversify your foodstuff. Why have only 100 MREs? Or only 12 buckets of free-dried meals? Or only 40 jars of okra? Or only 12 cans of tuna? Keep on hand a variety of food items, and the foods you’ll actually eat. Only pick up a “good deal” at the grocery store if you will really consume it OR you think you can use it to barter. Even then, remember you will need a way to store it. Be judicious. 13) Have some comfort food. It really does bring some homey comfort and normalcy to an otherwise hard situation. Gum? Candies? Chocolate? Are there some longer-term items you can keep for such a time? Would you have way to prepare coffee or tea if the power is out? Think of some your must-haves and how you can make sure you enjoy it. 14) The issue that tugs at my mind the most is being able to protect our food investment. We have two regular refrigerators, one upright freezer and one chest freezer. These must be hooked up to the generator promptly. How will you protect the food that requires refrigeration in your household?
