I saw this on Etsy and knew I wanted it for the kids’ bathroom. Our girls need to know their identity is in Christ; and our boys need to know that they must look beyond a “pretty face.” This little gem ended being displayed elsewhere because I think we all need to be reminded of this wisdom. Fun night at the art contest! My eldest daughter (who, understandably so, does not wish to share her drawing online) won an "Honorable Mention" ribbon for her submission. She also won 3rd place for photography. I cannot show the picture because it's of a sunset, with its reflection in a pond -but our neighbor's house is in the background. Wow, Friends! Today is the day for the annual homeschool art contest (I’ll post the kids’ submissions later). And it dawned on me that it’s been just over a year since Lin Wood recommended me. I hope I’m still that breath of fresh air on Telegram, and that I’ve made him and y’all proud 🥹 I’m so grateful for the shoutout because it allowed me to meet you. How wonderful life is because you gave me a chance. You stuck around to read my musings and you share the nicest things -and not just to me. You are deliberately living a God-fearing, God-pleasing life which is evident by your graciousness. You are compassionate, thoughtful, generous and full of the precious kind of hope that can only be gifted from Christ. Only another Believer understands how we’re truly connected and knows that even though we’re physically separated, we are the dearest of friends. And you know what a grand reunion we’ll have one day 💕 Thank you for being my Aaron and Hur when I just couldn’t make it on my own. There are no adequate words to describe how heavy with joy and awe my heart is thinking about what you did for our family.
