Location: Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Namakkal.
We are searching for a talented embedded developer to join our software team. In this role, you will be required to meet with clients and engineering teams to determine the project requirements, design the software architecture, and run tests to ensure the functionality of embedded systems.
To be a successful embedded developer, you should be proficient in C and C++ and possess detailed knowledge of microcontroller , Communication protocols. A skilled embedded developer should be able to develop optimized embedded code within hardware constraints and easily identify inefficiencies or software errors.
Embedded Developer Responsibilities:
Meeting with clients, designers, and engineering teams to define technical requirements.
Designing program based on project requirements and hardware specifications.
Writing software code for safety and security critical systems .
Conducting tests on the embedded software systems to ensure proper integration
Troubleshooting embedded systems and diagnosing errors, malfunctions, or inefficiencies.
Liaising with design and engineering teams to ensure process alignment.
Managing project timelines and reporting any delays or issues to the supervisor.
Generating diagnostic reports, technical manuals, and software development documentation.
Embedded Developer Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar.
A minimum of three years' experience as an embedded developer.
Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
Strong knowledge of hardware architecture such as ARM, MIPS, and x86.
Familiarity with hardware protocols including USB, UART, I2C, and SPI.
Experience with OS platforms such as Linux, Unix, and RTOS.
Excellent diagnostic skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
The ability to keep abreast with the latest advancements in technology and techniques.

Peripheral connections
From Figure, we can see that the chipset, CPU, and various other peripherals are externally connected to an FPGA because FPGA does not provide the facility to embed the CPU within itself (although many companies like Xilinx are working on changing that). This scenario, however, is absent in an ASIC, where the CPU can be embedded directly inside the ASIC.

FPGA structure and its accelerated flow
Figure shows the inside on an FPGA, where the green coloured boxes are known as I/O Cells. The orange coloured boxes, called Logic Blocks, consist of configurable logic blocks (CLBs) and look up tables (LUTs). Depending on the FPGA, the I/O cells and the logic blocks can change. The blue coloured lines represent the programmable interconnect resources, which allow the generation of different bit files.
