An extolment that the Prophet (ﷺ) recommended saying in the morning and evening is the following tasbih (100 times): سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ Subhan-allahi wa-bihamdih. (Exalted is Allah, and praise be to Him.) Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:  “Whoever says it, in the morning and in the evening, one hundred times, his sins will be forgiven, even if they exceeded the sea’s foam, and no one will excel his deeds on Resurrection Day except for a person who says the same or more.” [Recorded by al-Bukhari (6405), Muslim (2691-2692), and others] @dailydawah (telegram)

Fudayl Ibn ‘Iyād (رحمه الله) said: “The Qur’ān has only been revealed to be acted upon. Yet, the people have taken its recitation as its implementation.”* If Allāh (سبحانه وتعالى) has favored His slave with the recitation of the Qur’ān, contemplation upon it, and striving against his soul to act upon it, then he will attain a large portion in the purification of the soul. O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow. Reference: Ibn Hibban in his Sahih (no. 2427), and Ibn As- Sunni (no. 351). It was also declared authentic by 'Abdul-Qadir Al-Arna'ut in his checking of An-Nawawi's Kitabul-Athkarp. 106. اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً Reference : Hisn al-Muslim @dailydawah (telegram)

Reconciling Between Striving for the Hereafter and for Worldly Purposes: There are many verses and ahadith (Prophetic narrations) which urge the Muslim to develop the earth by means of agriculture and manufacturing. The Muslims understood that and hastened to strive to develop the earth without that affecting their worship and obedience to Allah, and without thinking that there was any conflict between religious and worldly interests. The only thing to avoid in this endeavour is anything that distracts the Muslim from his religious duties and obedience to his Lord.  It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no Muslim who plants something and birds or people or animals eat from it, but he will have the reward of charity for it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2195; Muslim, 1553  Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar (may Allah have mercy on him) said:   This hadeeth points to the virtue of planting and farming, and encourages us to develop the earth. From it we may understand that farming and agriculture are encouraged. This is a refutation of those ascetics who rejected this idea. The reports which may be understood as discouraging farming and agriculture should be interpreted as referring to cases where that distracts Muslims from religious affairs, such as the marfoo’ hadeeth (report) of Ibn Mas’ood which says: “Do not acquire land (for farming) lest you become too attached to worldly matters.” al-Qurtubi said: This hadeeth may be reconciled with other ahadith on this issue (which encourage farming) by noting that this refers to being too preoccupied with land and farming and being distracted by them from religious matters, and the other ahadith are to be understood as encouraging people to acquire land so that they may become independent of means or so that the Muslims may benefit from it and earn the reward for that.  Fath al-Baari, 5/4  @dailydawah (telegram)

Make this a habit: Muslims are urged to stay awake after the morning prayer, so as to benefit from the great blessing of the early morning. Sakhr al-Ghamidi and other companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “O Allah, bless the early part of the day for my Ummah. ” [Recorded by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i. and others. Verified to be authentic by al-Albani (Sahih ul-Jami no. 1300 and Hidayat ur Ruwah no. 3831)] Those who needlessly sleep in the early morning deprive themselves from this blessing. Therefore, some of the companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) considered this sleep an act of ignorance. Khawwat Bin Jubayr (رضي الله عنه) said: “Sleeping in the beginning of the Day is ignorance, in its middle is a good quality, and in its end is an imprudent act.” [Recorded by al-Bukhari (in al-Adab ul-Mufrad 1242) and verified to be authentic by al-Albani] If a person gets tired during the day, it is best for him to take a nap during the late morning or early afternoon, even if for just a few minutes. This was the practice of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ). Anas and Sahl Bin Sa‘d (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻢ) reported: “We used to pray Jumu‘ah and then take a nap (during the Prophet’s (ﷺ) time.)” [Recorded by al-Bukhari (905,938-941), Muslim (859), and others.] @dailydawah (telegram)

Seeking refuge with Allah from poverty: The Sunnah relates to us what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do and what he taught his ummah to do, which is seeking refuge with Allah from poverty, because of the effect that it has on a person, his family and his society.    It was narrated that Muslim ibn Abi Bakrah said: My father used to say following every prayer: Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min al-kufri wa’l-faqri wa ‘adhaab il-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from disbelief, poverty and the torment of the grave), and I used to say them too. My father said: O my son, where did you get this from? I said: From you. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say that following every prayer.  (Narrated by al-Nasa’i (1347); classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih al-Nasa’i)  `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say in his prayer: “Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min al-ma’tham wal-maghram (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from sin and heavy debt).” Someone said to him: “How often you seek refuge from heavy debt!” He said: “When a man gets into debt, he speak and tells lies, and he makes a promise and breaks it.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 832) and Muslim,589) @dailydawah (telegram)

Be grateful of Allah's blessings and remain patient: Allah Almighty says: “Remember Me (by praying, glorifying), I will remember you, and be grateful to Me (for My countless favors on you) and never be ungrateful to Me.” (Qur’an, 2:152) And, “Work you, O family of Dawud (David), with thanks!” But few of My slaves are grateful.” (Qur’an, 34:13) He informs us that the grateful are few and most people do not thank Him. Most people enjoy Allah’s favors, but they do not thank Him. They are unmindful, heedless, and careless. Allah Almighty says: “... while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.” (Qur’an, 47: 12) A believer should be patient and grateful, as Allah Almighty says: “Truly, there in are ayat (evidence, proofs and signs) for every patient, thankful (person).” (Qur’an, 14:5) A believer should be patient in times of adversity and thankful in times of prosperity. However, a believer should not lose hope or neglect the physical means, for patience does not conflict with taking the necessary physical measures. For example, one should not feel hopeless when suffering from illness and should seek treatment. @dailydawah (telegram)

O Allāh, You are my Lord, and there is no (true) god but You. You created me, and I am Your servant, and I try to fulfill my covenant and promise to You as much as I am able. I seek Your protection from the evil of my doings. I admit to Your favor upon me, and I confess my sins to You, so forgive me, because no one forgives sins but You. The Prophet (ﷺ) added: Whoever says it with certitude in the morning and dies during the day before the evening, he will reside in Jannah. Dashing to do good deeds: Hastening to do good deeds is mentioned in the Quran such as the Saying of Allah (which means): {It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.} [Quran 23:61] and other verses, the meaning of which is hastening and taking the initiative to do good deeds. Al-Baghawi said in his Tafseer: “The Saying of Allah (which means): {It is those who hasten to good deeds}, means they take the initiative to do good deeds.” [End of quote] This hastening to do good deeds is not specific to some kind of good deeds only; rather, if a Muslim can do any portion of every good deed that he is able to do, then let him hasten to do it and not delay. @dailydawah (telegram)

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:  “Whoever says it, in the morning and in the evening, one hundred times, his sins will be forgiven, even if they exceeded the sea’s foam, and no one will excel his deeds on Resurrection Day except for a person who says the same or more.” [Recorded by al-Bukhari (6405), Muslim (2691-2692), and others] @dailydawah (telegram)

Sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.” Sheikh Abdel Aziz AlTarefe (may Allah free him) @dailydawah (telegram)

Keep doing istighfar to Allah: عن الأغر بن يسار المزني رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «يا أيُّهَا النَّاسُ، تُوبُوا إلى اللهِ واسْتَغْفِرُوهُ، فَإنِّي أَتُوبُ في اليَّومِ مائةَ مَرَّةٍ». [صحيح] - [رواه مسلم] Al-Agharr ibn Yasār al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people, seek repentance from Allah and seek His forgiveness. Verily, I seek repentance one hundred times a day." Sahih/Authentic. - [Muslim] @dailydawah (telegram)

Chapter: For one whose affairs have become difficult(43)دعاء من استصعب عليه أمر Hisn al-Muslim 139 Allāhumma lā saḥla illā ma jaaltahu saḥla wa anta tajalu ‘l-ḥazna idhā shi'ta saḥla. O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow. Reference: Ibn Hibban in his Sahih (no. 2427), and Ibn As- Sunni (no. 351). Al-Hafidh (Ibn Hajar) said that this Hadith is authentic.
