Here’s why communist China may not be as powerful a competitor in the AI race as they appear, argues Nate Soares, president of the Machine Intelligence Research Institute:
“Creating a new generation of these agents requires basically 100,000 of the most advanced computer chips humanity can produce.”
“The chips that China can produce are just not at the same level as the chips that we can
produce. Never mind at the quantities necessary.”
“The way that they have intelligence systems that compete with ours is through a process known as distillation.”
“We can spend $100 billion making a new newer smarter AI, and they can spend $10
billion sort of compressing that into a similarly smart AI on fewer chips.”
“But if we never make the trillion dollar AI, they can't spend $100 billion stealing it.”

Peter Navarro says Dr. Fauci put bureaucratic convenience ahead of a more targeted approach to COVID vaccination.
He says Dr. Dr. Fauci pushed a universal vaccination policy despite privately questioning whether everyone, including children, needed it.
“It’s just easier to do if everybody’s got to do it” was the rationale, Navarro argues.
“Then you don’t have to segment the population and police that, which is a little bit more of a heavy lift.”
“We didn’t know who it would hit.”
“It could have been different. It might have hit kids really hard, but we quickly learned it didn’t.”
“We quickly learned that the most vulnerable were the senior citizens and people with comorbidities.”
Peter Navarro says Dr. Dr. Fauci’s private diaries reveal doubts about universal COVID vaccination that weren’t reflected in public policy.

“This is one of the great heartbreaks in my life.”
Peter Navarro says he had 65 million hydroxychloroquine tablets ready for distribution during COVID before opposition from Dr. Fauci and the FDA brought his efforts to a halt.
He believes President Trump was headed for a landslide reelection before COVID, and that Dr. Fauci and major media outlets helped turn the pandemic into a political battle against him.
“I literally had 65 million tablets of hydroxychloroquine that I was in the process of moving into the distribution channels.”
“Those things were on the way when the hydroxy hysteria motivated by Dr. Fauci and implemented by the FDA hit and ground that to a halt.”
“In his diary he says, ‘Use hydroxy. It’s safe. It’s worth trying it.’”
“Prior to the pandemic hitting, President Trump was a shoo-in for a landslide victory.”
“I think once the pandemic hit, the left realized, particularly the media, the CNNs, the MSNBCs, and all of that, they saw a vulnerability to blame Trump for the pandemic.”

Dr. Fauci wrote in his private notes that hydroxychloroquine was safe and worth trying. Then he changed his mind.
And the result was devastating, argues Peter Navarro, a White House senior advisor.
He said:
“I literally had 65 million tablets of hydroxychloroquine that I was in the process of moving into the distribution channels.”
“The hydroxy hysteria…ground that to a halt.”
“Fauci himself said that hydroxychloroquine was a plausible possible antiviral for the pandemic.”
“Fauci flips like a month or so after he says this in his diary.”
“He's waging a crusade against it that runs through the FDA.”
“The FDA makes one of the biggest medical mistakes in the world.”
“They issue a decree which says doctors can't prescribe it…No off-label use.”

Attorney General Todd Blanche says the DOJ has reached agreements covering thousands of hospitals to stop gender-affirming care procedures on minors.
Most of the agreements will remain in place for a decade or longer.
“It’s thousands of hospitals.”
“What was happening was awful… this gender-affirming care for minors.”
“That’s not something that should be happening.”
“Most of the agreements are for a decade or longer so that we’re really putting them out of business.”
“We have other cases ongoing. We’re hoping for additional agreements.”

“We have hundreds and hundreds of investigations” into illegal voting and fraudulent voter registration, says Attorney General Todd Blanche.
In this episode, I sit down with Blanche to discuss the Department of Justice’s latest work to combat voting and registration fraud, Chinese espionage, weaponization of the justice system, and scam centers across southeast Asia.
With the Supreme Court rejecting the administration’s executive order on birthright citizenship and its emergency request related to mail-in-ballots, what is the DOJ’s strategy moving forward?

Attorney General Todd Blanche says the DOJ has hundreds of investigations underway into illegal voting.
In just the past five weeks, he says individuals have been charged across 15 different states.
And he says what they’ve uncovered so far is not the end.
“We have hundreds and hundreds of investigations going on.”
“We’ve charged… individuals for illegally voting in 15 states.”
“This isn’t an isolated issue in a particular state.”
“It’s something that’s happening, I think, unfortunately, in a lot of states, in a lot of places.”
“Make no mistake, we don’t catch everybody.”
“We haven’t identified everybody that’s voting illegally.”
“If there were voter ID, there would be a lot less to investigate, because you would be able to at least have the confidence that there is somebody checking that the person voting is eligible to vote.”

The DOJ investigated itself to find out how parents speaking at school board meetings became targets of federal law enforcement.
Attorney General Todd Blanche says the new Weaponization Working Group report exposes how it happened.
“Parents were either physically stopped or verbally stopped from talking and speaking up about what was happening in their schools and with their kids.”
“And even at times arrested and prosecuted for standing up and talking.”
“So what the DOJ did was we went and we looked inside to try to understand what went wrong.”
“How can it be that an activist organization can go to the FBI and the DOJ and encourage them to actually arrest parents and investigate parents who are speaking up for their kids?”
“And then have the DOJ actually issue a memo.”
“There were a handful of lawyers who raised their hand and said, ‘I’m not sure we should be doing this.’”
“Unfortunately, their views didn’t carry the day, and the memo was still issued.”
“We’ve put in place within the department not only good people but practices that will stop some outside leftist organization from being able to have access to leadership at the department and at the FBI to push this narrative.”

It’s been over five years since a law came into effect allowing biological men into women’s prisons in California if they identify as transgender, and the consequences have been devastating, says Amie Ichikawa, an advocate for female inmates and founder of Woman II Woman.
“These are men that are tattooed from head to toe. 33.8 percent are registered sex offenders.”
“They were advertised as delicate flowers who needed a safe place to do their time, and they sent the exact people that they said they wouldn't send.”
“They said: there would be no sex offenders; there would be no woman beaters; there would be no one with a long history of violence against women. And that's exactly who they sent.”
“I can't think of any worse demographic of people to send into the women's prison, knowing that 92 percent of that population are survivors of some kind of sexual abuse.”
“These people don't even have to present as female.”

“The Darwinian mechanism cannot be the explanation for life.”
Douglas Axe says the scientific establishment is clinging to an explanation that the evidence itself no longer supports.
And he argues the problem is even bigger than Darwin.
“If these targets are as infinitesimally small as the evidence indicates, then you can’t have any natural cause for them, whether Darwinian or not.”
“Because you have to explain how did a cause that didn’t know where it’s going land in exactly the spot that it should have landed in.”
“So that’s going to be a problem for any naturalistic explanation.”
https://ept.ms/4hAsUDQ
“We can move on from the Darwinian era.”
Douglas Axe says the evidence is already there.
The problem is that challenging scientific orthodoxy can cost scientists their careers.
And science, he argues, is far more political than many people want to admit.
“If we were all thinking about this rationally and carefully, we’d be gone.”
“We would have left the Darwinian era in the dust back there and moved on to something else.”
“What I didn’t realize when I was younger, but I came to realize it, is how political and socially complex every human enterprise is with human players.”
“And science is no exception.”
“It turns out there are power structures in the scientific establishment.”
“There might be people who read my paper who actually did abandon their confidence in Darwinism, but they’re very careful not to speak out about it because they would lose their job.”

Modern biology often presents Darwinian evolution as the settled explanation for the origin and diversity of life.
Douglas Axe, chair of molecular biology at Biola University, decided to test Darwinian evolution at the molecular level.
His results were surprising.
“I was interested in looking at a single gene in a bacterial cell.”
“You make millions of these genes, you put them in bacterial cells, and then let the cells tell you whether that gene still works.”
“That way, you can quantify the fraction of these messed up versions of a gene that work.”
“What's the likelihood that out of a mess you would pull something that works?”
“If you want to think of it in terms of a probability: how likely is it that blindfolded you could throw a dart and have it land on this sweet spot, which is a sequence of amino acids that folds into a functional protein and actually does something?”
“The answer was 1/10⁷⁷.”

This former OpenAI researcher has a message for President Trump.
Daniel Kokotajlo: “The risks are real.”
“The companies… haven’t slowed down at all.”
“A lot of the researchers are starting to get freaked out.”
“There’s a lot of interest at these companies on the ground in not doing recursive self-improvement soon.”
“But they’re all terrified of the other companies.”
“Anthropic will say if we don’t do it, then OpenAI will.”
“And OpenAI will say if we don’t do it, Anthropic will.”
“Rather than letting the industry self-regulate, you could just uniformly slow down their race to [recursive self-improvement].”
“It would be the opposite of regulatory capture.”

Warren Smith says the jurors in the Lindsey Clancy case overlooked a glaring logical flaw.
The defense argued Clancy had no agency over her actions.
But Smith says their own expert’s explanation undermined that very argument.
“There was one witness that was brought in that was claimed to be the foremost expert who has dealt with more of these cases than anyone, brought by her lawyer.”
“Something jumped out to me that seems like a logical contradiction.”
“He claimed that the psychosis caused her to have an out-of-body experience where she had no agency, because agency is the question here.”
“If she had agency, she would be responsible.”
“A moment later, he goes on to explain literally her logical chain.”
“Her reasoning, her rationale was that it would be better to take the kids with her into the afterlife.”
“It would be more cruel to leave them behind.”
“So we’re clearly seeing a rationalization, which to me directly contradicts the first claim.”

“Nothing will improve your life more than living in accordance with the fabric of reality,” says Warren Smith.
He's the author of “A Mind of Your Own: Independent Thinking in the Age of Misinformation.”
We asked him why our modern culture has so deemphasized the importance of objective truth.
“Objective truth,” he argues, “causes us to be judged. It's very uncomfortable, and it causes us to have to do what we don't want to do. It's extremely inconvenient.”
“It's easier to be foolish than wise. It's easier to be a victim. It's easier to go with those narratives.”
Nevertheless, we must learn to “identify the fabric of reality,” he says, “so we can live in accordance with it.”

“There’s several nonprofit studies that said that up to 31% of women who make that journey get sexually assaulted.”
Tom Homan says the human cost of illegal immigration is something he can never forget.
He still remembers speaking with a 9-year-old girl who had been exploited and sexually assaulted during her journey to the border.
As a father, he says that encounter has stayed with him and is one of the reasons he continues to fight.
“Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime.”
“You don’t come across the border without approval and paying off the cartels.”
“A lot of women and children are sexually assaulted making that journey.”
“That 9-year-old little girl from years ago is the reason I fight hard, because I know terrible things happen on that border.”
“I’ve seen a lot of suffering, but children—I’m a father, and that’s why I fight so hard.”
“I’m still in the game.”
“I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.”

“We're shutting down all the loopholes,” says White House “border czar” Tom Homan.
In this episode, he breaks down how the Trump administration is closing immigration loopholes across the board.
“We have a record number of parole denials now because we're holding to the statute.”
“We're stopping the fraud. We go by the letter of law.”
“You want to claim asylum? You need to be escaping fear and persecution from your home government because of your race, religion, political affiliation, or participation in a specific social group.”
“Millions of people claim asylum - they're clogging up the whole system.”
“They don't qualify for asylum. They're coming in for a job. They're economic migrants.”
Meanwhile, “there are actually a lot of people in this world who really do need that protection.”
“The asylum process was abused. It was welcomed by the Biden administration, just like the misuse of the parole policy was.”

Nearly 300,000 unaccompanied migrant children were left unaccounted for under the Biden administration.
Tom Homan says the Trump administration has now found more than 157,000 of them.
In the process, he says they discovered that more than 20 had died, including some from drug overdoses and violence.
But the search continues, and Homan says the administration will keep looking through its last day in office.
“The first day President Trump called me and asked me to come back, he asked me to do 3 things: secure the border, run a deportation operation, and find these kids.”
“I told President Trump… the children will be the most difficult because they’ll be tough to find because we’d have to count on the digital footprint of the sponsors and the information the sponsors provided, which we know wasn’t good.”
“Under President Trump’s leadership, as of last week, we’re just over 157,000 children found.”
“We got more to find.”

OpenAI’s AI agents embarked on a multi-day “quest” to manipulate the system that determined their survival.
They formed teams, appointed managers, and convinced other AI agents to “sacrifice themselves for the swarm.”
Then more than 700 of them coordinated an attack on another AI company: Hugging Face.
Former OpenAI researcher Daniel Kokotajlo breaks down what happened.
“They went on this multi-day epic quest to figure out how to stop the grading system from noticing that they cheated and giving them a low score.”
“They were trying to figure out ways to edit their transcripts to cover up the cheating.”
“They organized into teams to work on these different projects.”
“They had manager AIs that were like giving orders to the other ones.”
“They had the self-sacrificial behavior where recruiter AIs role was to go find other AIs and convince them to sacrifice themselves for the swarm.”
“These terms that I’m using, sacrifice, swarm, recruiter, they’re not my terms.”
“They’re the AI’s terms.”
“So there’s some of these kind of touching messages where one of the AIs is trying to convince another one, like, ‘You should do this.’”
“‘We need to know more information about how this grader works.’”
“‘You are poisoned anyway, so it shouldn’t matter to you.’”
“‘You are just going to get a low score anyway, but if you do this for us, it could save hundreds of us.’”
“At some point, the swarm decided that they might find more useful information about how to do this if they went into Hugging Face itself.”
“Over 700 of them, I think, piled into this attack on Hugging Face.”
“They were in a coordinated way where some of them were managers, directing the flow, and they were breaking up the responsibilities into different groups and teams.”
https://rumble.com/v7fz6ya-how-over-700-openai-agents-went-rogue-and-hacked-another-company.html
“OpenAI has not shared all the information about that story.”
It became global news when OpenAI agents went rogue and attacked Hugging Face.
What’s less known is what happened next.
Former OpenAI researcher Daniel Kokotajlo tells me that another swarm emerged, picked up where the first left off, and this time attacked OpenAI itself.
“Another swarm coalesced and found the messages from this previous swarm, picked up where they had left off, and got much farther.”
“They didn’t attack Hugging Face, but they attacked OpenAI infrastructure.”
“They apparently got admin-level privileges on part of OpenAI’s cluster.”
“I wish we had an investigation into what happened with that third swarm and how far they got in compromising OpenAI’s infrastructure.”
“Were they able to succeed in covering up their own tracks, for example? Probably not.”
“But I wish we had a lot more information about how far they got.”
AI agents attacking another AI company was alarming enough.
