Advantage: there are no small losses, the yield curve goes up. Since it is not known when a fatal deal will occur, which will bring down the entire balance, the profit is withdrawn according to arbitrary benchmarks, for example, when the deposit is tripled. For many forex players, it is psychologically easier not to worry about small losses, but simply to play for the entire deposit, or in the end to make a profit, or to part with the deposit. This is the only change in the settings archive (archive with settings in the last commentary to the EA on the site MQL). /////////////////////////////////////// Reminder: "MultiLot" in the name of the set means the use of "grid" and "martingale" elements. This means that the sets have no SL and instead use the averaging position. A complete loss of balance is possible (regardless of the results of backtesting). /////////////////////////////////////// On my account "FrankoScalp Modern Multilot", for some time now, I began to use only the most reliable pairs, in my opinion, which have withstood testing since 2015. Now, I think this is overly conservative. For example, I deleted the CADCHF set, since it loses in 2017. At the same time, CADCHF has been showing super-profitability since 2018. Therefore, I decide to include it again in my signal, as the recent years are of higher priority for analysis. I will also consider other pairs, I will make a different trading lot size for different pairs. Hello! This is an important post! Check it out⚠️ All my EAs (like most EAs) have time settings. To make sure that it is correct, expand any one chart in the terminal (if it is correct on one chart, then it is also correct on the others) and compare the GMT time in the advisor's information field with the GMT time on the Internet (for example, from the site https://time.is/GMT ). This must be done on a weekday when the currency market is open. This check must be performed when you first launch an Expert Advisor on a new VPS, as well as during the time change period (winter/summer). So, if the GMT values coincide on the chart of the expert and the website on the Internet, then everything is correct, no action is required. Let's increase the probability of opening deals on MT4 for top pairs. Hi traders, MT5 "ModernMain" had a good deal today. It was not on MT4. Let's increase the probability of opening deals on MT4 for top pairs. Add 4 more charts with the main pairs and attach to them an expert with the corresponding sets from the "Sets Modern All" folder (USDCHF, EURCHF, CADCHF, USDCAD). The lot size in these sets is 0.01 per $ 100 of the balance, if necessary, then increase to 0.01 per $ 25 (this will correspond to your "ModernMain" sets). Many users face BackTesting problem 🔧 ❇️What you need to know: 1️⃣ Create a separate terminal for testing (which you do not use for real trading, as this terminal will consume a lot of computer resources and may slow down or freeze). 2️⃣ To display the strategy tester in the terminal, go to the "View" tab and select "Strategy Tester". 3️⃣ Usually, users use the same broker for testing with which they have a real account. But not all brokers provide quality quotes for the strategy tester. For example, I use Alpari for testing (pro.ecn-account for MT4 and ecn-account for MT5), you can open these demo accounts there for testing (before starting backtesting, you need to log in to the account in the terminal). 4️⃣ Download quotes. In MT5, quotes are automatically loaded during testing. In MT4, you must first go to "Tools" ➡️ "Options" ➡️ "Charts" and set the maximum values for "Max bars in history" and "Max bars in chart". And then go to "Tools" ➡️ "History Center" and download the quotes of the desired symbol.
