Your sister never asked you to love her, did she? Your best friend never called you at 3 am begging for you to love her the way she loves you, did she? You curse at your mother yet, before you leave the house you still remember to tell her you love her. None of these people asked you to love them none of these people pleaded and begged for your love yet you still love them.
Sometimes we think we are unloveable but we are really just asking the wrong people to love us. Your mother didn’t look at the hair on your arm and decide one day she wasn’t gonna love you anymore, your best friend watched you eat your third and fourth slice of pizza and I bet she still loves you too.
You are not unlovable because you didn’t have time to straighten your hair. You are not unloveable because you ordered a coke instead of a diet. You are not unloveable because you’re not as skinny as you think you should be. You are not unloveable if all you did today was exist.
For every one person who couldn’t love you correctly, I bet you can think of 5 people who do, and even if you can’t know that you have always been deserving of love and you are loved by me even if I don’t know you.
