Shaykh Saalih Al-Fawzaan (may Allah preserve him) explained that a woman’s dislike of her husband practicing polygamy is a natural feeling that arises from human emotions such as protectiveness, jealousy, and sensitivity, and it does not mean she is rejecting or hating what Allah has legislated. This distinction is important because while polygamy is a law of Allah that must be accepted with faith and submission, a wife’s personal discomfort or sadness at the idea is part of her natural disposition and is not sinful. Islam acknowledges these human emotions and makes room for them, while reminding believers to separate natural reactions from their stance toward the divine legislation, thereby maintaining respect for the wisdom of Allah’s laws while also recognizing the reality of human feelings. https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaGebei8KMqqhswbkK1L

Repost from Salafi Help Line
Question About Vouching for Sharing Knowledge and Counseling
Reply Message by Usthaad Mustafa George hafidhahullah ⬇️ https://t.me/salafihelpline
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh I hope this message finds you well. I would like to ask for clarification on an important matter. When it comes to sharing beneficial reminders or general wellbeing, or mental health is it required that the person must be vouched for by a Shaykh or a student of knowledge? Also, in the case of someone who is a trained or licensed counselor or therapist, is it necessary that they too must be vouched for by scholars before they can offer their services? For example, doctors and teachers usually do not need to be vouched for by a Shaykh in order to practice their profession, so does the same principle apply to counselors and therapists that are upon the Quran and Sunnah and upon the way of the Salaf? I ask this because a lot of sisters have experienced being told that they must be vouched for, and I would like clarity on the correct position. Jazakum Allahu khayran for your time and guidance.

Wa salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh Kindly keep my identity private. BarakAllahu feekum و عليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته  If they aren't teaching Islamic knowledge,
they don't have to be vouched for by a scholar or student
As for their credentials, knowledge of their field, experience, and expertise in those fields, it is good if people vouch for them, but not a requirement

*Do not push your loved ones away with harshness or neglect.* If a man does not find peace and mercy at home, he may look for it elsewhere—in work, or sometimes in harmful and sinful places. https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaGebei8KMqqhswbkK1L If a woman does not find love and kindness at home, she may seek it outside—in gossip, wrong company, or other influences that lead her away from Allah. If children do not feel compassion, safety, and warmth at home, they may search for it in the world—and the world is full of dangers and temptations that can harm their faith and hearts. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family.” (Tirmidhi) So do not push your loved ones away with harshness or neglect. Build a home filled with love, mercy, and understanding, so it becomes a place of tranquility and a shield from the trials of the world.

*When Pain Overwhelms*: An Islamic and Psychological Reflection on the Al Khobar tragic incident قَدَّرَ اللهُ وَما شاءَ فَعَل ✍️By Director AMCC https://forms.fromyourtutor.com *The recent tragic incident in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, where an expatriate mother killed her three children* before attempting to take her own life, has shaken the community. As Muslims, we grieve deeply at such loss, and as mental health professionals, we are reminded of the urgent need to address psychological crises before they lead to irreversible actions. *Understanding the State of Mind* Psychologically, such acts rarely come from cruelty, but rather from a state of severe emotional and mental breakdown. In moments of unbearable stress, a person may experience: • *Hopelessness* – believing life will never improve. • *Overload* – feeling completely trapped with no way out. • *Distorted thinking* – sometimes even a psychotic or dissociative break, where judgment and reality are impaired. • *Maternal despair* – in psychology, some mothers in crisis tragically believe they are “saving” their children from future suffering by taking them with them. *The Islamic Perspective* Islam teaches us that life is sacred: • Allah ﷻ says: “And do not kill yourselves (or one another). Surely Allah is Most Merciful to you.” (Qur’an) • The Prophet ﷺ reminded us: “Your body has a right over you, your soul has a right over you, and your family has a right over you.” (Bukhari, Muslim) This reminds us that preserving life, caring for our health, and seeking help are all part of our amanah (trust) to Allah. When someone reaches a point of such despair, it is not only their individual weakness, but often the result of isolation, lack of support, and untreated mental illness. *The Role of Counseling and Support* In our community, we often hesitate to seek counseling, fearing stigma or judgment. Yet, the Prophet ﷺ himself encouraged consultation (shura), speaking, and seeking remedies for difficulties. *Counseling provides:* • A safe space to share pain without fear of blame. • Coping tools for stress, anger, and hopelessness. • Family healing by addressing marital and parenting pressures. • Prevention of escalation before despair leads to self-harm or harm to others. *A Call to the Community* This tragedy should be a wake-up call: • We must normalize seeking psychological help as part of Islamic self-care. • Families and community leaders should watch for warning signs—withdrawal, hopeless speech, neglect of responsibilities, or talk of death. • Every masjid and expatriate community should know where to refer families in crisis. *As Muslims, we believe that trials are a test, but we are never asked to suffer alone in silence.* The Prophet ﷺ sought *HUMAN comfort* with his companions, and taught us that *healing is part of faith*. *Supporting one another in times of emotional struggle is not just a social duty—it is an Islamic obligation of mercy*. May Allah ﷻ protect our families, grant patience to those in pain, and make us a community that uplifts one another with compassion and care. ⸻ 📌 If you or someone you know is struggling with overwhelming thoughts, please reach out for help. Seeking counseling is not a weakness—it is a step towards healing, a step loved by Allah, who is “Most Merciful to those who show mercy.”

It is evident that persistent traits such as hastiness, anger, erratic behavior, envy, and greed are not just spiritual flaws but also psychological burdens that block emotional growth and inner peace. The quote from Rawdatul ‘Uqala reflects timeless wisdom: a constantly hasty person lacks the mindfulness needed for sound decisions; one consumed by anger struggles with emotional regulation; envy thrives where gratitude is absent; and greed replaces contentment with chronic dissatisfaction. These traits often stem from unresolved trauma, insecurity, or unmet emotional needs. *Healing requires a balanced approach—spiritually through repentance and remembrance of Allah, and psychologically through self-awareness, boundaries, and therapeutic intervention.* True richness lies in emotional restraint, inner calm, and a heart that trusts in Allah’s wisdom and timing.

This is Called Compassionate Awareness or can we call common sense? • If someone is struggling to have children, speak gently when sharing about your kids. • If someone is grieving a loved one, be careful not to casually talk about family gatherings and joyful reunions. • If someone is battling health issues, avoid discussing your fitness routines or ideal lifestyle. • If someone feels lonely, resist the urge to glorify your friendships or married life. • If someone is facing failure, hold back from showcasing your achievements too loudly. • If someone is going through a divorce, don’t idealize your marriage or wedding. • If someone is struggling to get married, don’t constantly speak about married life in their presence. • If someone is under financial stress, don’t boast about your income, savings, or new purchases. ⸻ *Kindness is not silence—it’s choosing the right words at the right time.* Do you agree ?

*The Importance of Islamic Counseling, Inner Healing, and Patience (Sabr)* In today’s world filled with emotional struggles and spiritual confusion, many people silently suffer with wounded hearts and restless minds. This is where Islamic counseling becomes a source of light and healing. 🔹 *Islamic Counseling* Grounded in the principles of Iman (faith), Tawakkul (trust in Allah), and Qadr (divine decree), it helps individuals reconnect with their purpose, regulate their emotions, and find clarity through the lens of Deen. 🔹 *Inner Healing (Shifa)* Sometimes, healing begins just by feeling heard and understood. Through du’a, repentance, reflection, and spiritual connection, a deep inner peace starts to replace the chaos. 🔹 Patience (Sabr) Sabr is not weakness—it’s strength in disguise. It means enduring hardship with faith, knowing that relief is near. It teaches us to lean on Allah without giving up, to trust the unseen plan even when it hurts. ✨ *Islamic counseling is not just about mental wellness—it’s a soul-deep journey of returning to Allah with insight, faith, and hope.* https://www.instagram.com/p/DMPb9aPSXud/?igsh=MTAzNTFiaDRycjB5aw==

🌿 The Importance of Consistent Counseling Sessions 🌿 Healing is not a one-time event — it’s a journey. Consistent counseling sessions allow your mind and heart to gradually unlearn self-criticism, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier thought patterns. Just like physical therapy, emotional and psychological healing takes time. Each session builds upon the last, helping you: • Understand your inner world with more clarity • Break free from harmful patterns • Learn coping tools that last a lifetime • Feel supported and heard in a safe space As one of our clients from Indonesia shared, consistent support helped her realize the harshness she held against herself — and guided her toward self-compassion and growth. Therapy isn’t just for crisis — it’s for clarity, growth, and living a better version of yourself. الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات ✨ Book your journey to healing today. *Every thing with His mercy alone* https://forms.fromyourtutor.com
