Tilet solution

Have you ever wondered why some things feel beautiful partly because they don't last? A sunset is beautiful because it disappears. Flowers are beautiful partly because they bloom and die. Even a moment with someone can feel precious because you know you can't keep it forever. There's actually an old philosophical idea called mono no aware, the beauty and sadness that comes from knowing things are temporary. And that made me think about the idea of an eternal afterlife. If heaven is supposed to be eternal, and you're there forever, experiencing happiness forever... doesn't that create a strange contradiction? If something never ends, can it still have the same kind of meaning that comes from knowing it will end? Maybe an eternal existence would solve the problem of death... but would it also remove one of the things that makes life beautiful in the first place? I don't know if that's a contradiction that proves anything. But I think it's a really interesting question.
