#writing_task_2 Some people think that we should invent a new language for international communication. Will the benefits of this outweigh the problems associated with it? In recent years, international communication has become crucial. Some people are of the opinion that a new language should be invented to carry out worldwide communication. While there are some advantages of this practice, I believe that the disadvantages outweigh the benefits.  The first benefit of having a new universal language is that language-related problems can be reduced between local people and migrants. It is true that when a person migrates to another country, they may have some conflicts with locals due to language differences. Should a new language be established, it would be straightforward for such people to communicate with one another. Besides that, thanks to the existence of a universally spoken language, international conferences along with business meetings can be hassle-free. This is because, in those events, people are usually in need of translators to express themselves fully, which can take more time. For this reason, a new language can help those people to have a seamless conversation, saving them invaluable time. However, I believe the invention of a new language has more downsides in comparison to the upsides. Firstly, developing a new language is tricky. All languages in existence today formed in history in different communities, which was a natural process. If there are efforts to invent a new language, it can be a real challenge for those who are responsible for it. Secondly, the process of creating a new language would demand a fortune since a lot of professional linguists can be required to make the language properly for everybody to grasp. Time to acquire a new language can be another headache for learners. The young can be ready to invest a number of hours in the acquisition of the language, while the elderly will probably feel reluctant to learn it because of time and age. In conclusion, via a universal language in the world, the communication problems between migrants and local people can be reduced, and international meetings can be conducted smoothly. Nevertheless, I believe the drawbacks of a new language weigh more because it is a challenging task to invent a new language, and the procedure can be costly. In addition, not everybody, especially older individuals, may not be ready to learn a new language because of their age and the time to learn that language. ✍️ 382 words ⏳ 39 min @ietsminds⚡️

#writing_task_2 Not many young people in countries around the world go to and enjoy concerts and plays. Why is this case? How should they be encouraged to attend? It is true that nowadays a small number of young people are attending and enjoying concerts and plays across the world. There are some reasons why this is happening and I believe it is possible to encourage them to attend these events with the help of some ways.  There exist three main reasons why there are not many young participants in concerts and plays. Firstly, nowadays most young people have a packed schedule which mainly consists of study-related tasks. Because competitiveness is on the increase these days, the young have a lot of academic pressure, and their future success directly depends on how well they perform academically. Having that thought, they simply prefer not attending the concerts and plays to save time. Secondly, some concerts, especially plays in theatres, are not as attractive as other entertaining activities young people do. In other words, going karaoke, playing bowling or computer games appeal to the young more rather than monotonous concerts and plays. Finally, due to the online platforms on which concerts and plays are uploaded, young people want to watch them in an online manner. By doing so, the young not only do save money but also, they can watch them in the comfort of their own home, creating a good atmosphere for themselves. Although there are some reasons behind young people’s unwillingness to attend concerts and plays, In my view, this problem can be solved with the help of some viable methods. One of them is that children should be taken to concerts and plays regularly by their parents and teachers. Should it be done, children can form a fondness for these activities, and as time passes, they are likely to keep visiting concerts and theatres. Secondly, the amount of homework given to students needs to be reduced. As a result, students can have more spare time and they can be regular attendees of these performances. Last but not least, there should be some amount of discounts for young people to attend concerts and plays. If it is done, we can see an increase in the number of young people who participate in those activities. These ways can help to strike the interests of the young towards that form of art. In conclusion, although young people feel reluctant to participate in concerts and plays due to excessive amount of academic pressure, lack of interest, and cost of these activities, I believe it is feasible to gain their interest. This can be done by familiarizing them with concerts from an early age, reducing the amount of homework, and offering them some discounts to the young bracket of the population.  438 words @ieltsminds⚡️
