Vegemight ™ official Aussie damper recipe 3 scoops of self raising flour 1 scoop water 1 pinch of salt 1 pinch of raw sugar Throw dry goods into a bowl, add water, get those hands dirty working it to a dough. Splat it flat, slice the top so it's like the union jack. Place into metal cooking device of preference that you have dusted in flour to stop it sticking. Place into pre-heated 180°c / 350°f oven, give it 45 mins or till she smells done and she'll be right. Eat with butter, honey, cream, Vegemite or whatever floats your boat. Bonus Aussie points if you scoop from an enamel cup, mix in enamel bowl, have it mixed by little hands, cook it in cast iron and enjoy with other Aussies today.
