Chancellor Merz just addressed the public. He called the election outcome a disaster. Yet, he failed to announce any consequences of this election for his policies. He said that his course is correct and that he will just continue as before. He talks like a 'president' in his bunker one day before his regime falls.

AfD seems to have won in MV. It might still lead to a far-left communist coalition, as the AfD still lacks the support for a single party majority.

Voter turnout is huge in Sachsen-Anhalt compared to previous elections. That can mean that the AfD managed to mobilize many voters, or that many people who were brainwashed by the establishment vote tactically just to prevent the AfD from ruling. These tactical voters are not convinced by the mainstream parties. They just believe all the lies that are spread about the AfD.

Leftists are forming mobs in Magdeburg, right now. They said that they will not accept the outcome ofcthe election and that tgey will use violence in order to overthrow the state in Sachsen-Anhalt. That is why there is a massive police presence there, as well. I hope it will stay peaceful in Germany, tonight.
