Hey Goats, I will be stepping down as Project Manager and leaving things to N0ps and Jhunehl. It’s be a roller coaster this past year but I appreciate this community knowledge I’ve gained. We’ve seen great things for AG and I believe with the proper leadership and hard work this community can take off again next bull run. Although I’m stepping down I’ll still be in the community. If questions are asked of me from the team I will be around to answer them. Crypto still can change many of your lives and I wish the best for everyone! -James

Open note to our community The Aquagoat team would like to acknowledge and address issues that have been raised over the last few weeks. Since inception, Aquagoat has always, and will always be, a community driven project. Through the rollercoaster we have all been on over the last 18 months, the community is always the thing that kept AG going. You have been committed holders and have been through a lot. We would like to acknowledge the fact that in the hecticness of the past few weeks and the depths of this bear market, we could have done better by you all. We could have done better regarding the communication of a renewed focus on Discord. While we believe that Discord is the bottom end of our marketing funnel and will capture loyal goats as we rebuild, we acknowledge the way the TG pause was managed, could have been handled better. A decision was made that, at the time, seemed the best for the community and the safety of the community. It was wrong to remove posts from community members and remove users that were commenting on the handover and handling of the project. No one is above criticism here and even though we are all volunteers and receive some pretty nasty notes and threats, we understand that we report to the community and we took on the role to be impartial, and we apologize. To prevent this happening again the TG community is under new moderation leadership in DG and we are recruiting fresh, passionate mods who will be trained to allow constructive debate and will report back to the core team so we don’t operate in a vacuum. No one in the core team will limit constructive discussion from our TG community nor ban users without due cause. We’re ready to move forward and we need you all with us. Aquagoat team update Goats, the core leadership team met today and had a very productive conversation, we would like to be transparent about what was discussed. We have designed four very clear areas that have accountability within each one and also play to our individual strengths. Everything we do will map back to each one of these areas This is a reset and allows us time to return to being a growth engine when the market picks up again. N0ps is the technical and innovations lead - He will be managing the contract while developing DEX strategy, building out an NFT strategy and also working on some very exciting crosschain initiatives Jhunehl is our Partnerships and real life impact lead - She will continue to look after nurturing and building the core business partnerships that will turn us into a growth engine and also take the lead on building out our real world utility. She will build her goals underneath this objective James will lead Operations and work tactically on exchange communication and work alongside Jhunehl on strategic technical partnerships. He is accountable in this area and will report back on progress Sydney will lead Comms and community and will work to build back up a loyal community through a strong funnel that begins with Social Media, informs new supporters through Telegram and then funnels loyal Goats through to Discord. This main Telegram group will reopen shortly and be a single source of truth. (We do not manage or control any international forums) DG will be helping Sydney spearhead this work and will take an active role on social media strategy and managing mods and admin within Telegram. The team thanks him for his loyal support and relentless energy Whether you are OG or brand new, this reset is about letting go of the past and aimed at us becoming a strong growth engine when the market returns, please be respectful and let's bring positivity back to the Goat. Previous team members are in contact and in process of handing over everything as appropriate AG has zero tolerance of abuse to any team member or supporter past or present, any abuse will be swiftly dealt with. Hey everyone, I know change is scary, especially in times like these. But I wanted to say, with new leadership comes new direction. We can’t keep doing what hasn’t been working, so let’s have a future-oriented mindset, give it a chance and trust where it goes. The lead team will divide labor based on our related strengths. Travis (as the new contract owner) has a lot of great ideas, and I for one am excited to see where he and Seth take us in the technical crypto space. DG will continue to be our phenomenal community lead, and SydneyGoat as our trusted communications guru and advisor. My focus will be on partnerships, charity, and outreach, which is what I’m passionate about and what drew me to AquaGoat in the first place. SydneyGoat will be returning alongside me on June 20th. As for James and Patrick, I feel that all problems and negativity have been scapegoated toward them, and I don’t think that is a healthy way to move forward. I know there may be disagreements about the way people should handle things, but remember that all of us came from the community and we all have been trying our best for AquaGoat. We wish Patrick well and I personally hope he comes back to our community in the future. James for a long time actually kept a lot of things together in the background, especially when Patrick wasn’t able to be responsive. James essentially plays a catch-all role of operations manager, organizing many of our behind-the-scenes needs. Patrick and James are good people. Let’s leave the past behind us and have a fresh start. Lastly, I was informed about the new focus on Discord, and although I’m not too familiar with the platform yet, I support the move because the lead group voted for it. Let’s give Discord a chance. If we are to survive and thrive in this tough market, we need to move forward with a positive outlook. I look forward to seeing you all again soon! - Jhunehl

The announcement channel will remain active for those that love to check updates there. Hi everyone, I know things look tough right now, but we are not giving up. @n0ps777 and @King_Jamie03 have been working with @AG_Patrick to transfer ownership of the contract so we can keep the project going. Although there has been a delay on Patrick’s part, we are continuing to keep things moving forward. I am still away on leave until mid-June, but I wanted to reassure everyone that we are still here and that I am still in constant contact with the other leads. Everyone here has made it this far, and we will get through this bear market together. - Jhunehl

Hey Goats, The transition from Patrick to a new contract owner/project manager is taking a little longer than expected. However we’re hopeful to wrap things up over the next few days. I will like to provide a little bit of information that hopefully excites everyone. @n0ps777 will be joining @Jhubear and I has the project managers and he will also be the contract owner. He has alot of new and exciting ideas that he will be sharing with everyone soon!

Hey every goat, I see the poll, and the community has spoken. I regrettably announce my formal departure from AquaGoat. The project will be left to the remaining Project Managers Jhunehl and James, as well as n0ps and the rest of the team to continue on. Relevant accounts, contract ownership, and other information will be transferred over. I will do my best to help the team in finding a suitable replacement to take my place. I encourage all of you to bring recommendations to the team to help in their decision making. Being here in AquaGoat from day one, I have seen it do so much good. AquaGoat has been able show the world that crypto does not need to be environmentally negative, but truly environmentally positive as a token that can make a lot of positive change for a natural resource that has had a lot of damage done to it. This project has so much potential, and I hate to be the one hindering it from succeeding. I recognize my lack of activity and communication. To be honest, the first few months in this project took it out of me and led me to burn out. I put my all, staying up day and night and handling different aspects of the project as previous team members became inactive and lacked communication. This feeling of burn out never truly left me, and it’s only come full circle as other team members have become frustrated as they wait for a response and pull my weight for me. Apart from burnout, there are personal issues and trauma affecting me to the point of me having to leave my own day job to get a better hold of myself. This is not an excuse, simply reasoning. This token has always been a community project and a departure was always possible, maybe even eventually meant to happen. It is unfortunate for me to leave in this fashion, however, I do want to remind all that, as a community project, it is still up to everyone that is a part of this token, team member or investor, for AquaGoat to succeed. It does not end with a long time member leaving a central team. Think of Bitcoin. It took a community who believed in it to make it what it is today. Do the same for AquaGoat. Go for greatness.
