The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, described the Israeli army as "the most depraved" in response to a video showing soldiers abusing a Palestinian child in the occupied West Bank.
Albanese wrote on her X-Platform account, sharing the video: "I have seen enough to say with absolute certainty that the Israeli army is the most depraved." In another post, the UN rapporteur commented on the video, stating that it shows an Israeli soldier assaulting a Palestinian child in the village of Al-Mughayyir, near Ramallah in the central West Bank, during a raid on the village, describing the footage as "horrifying."
