Thinkpad p15 gen 1 freezing issues ​ I've had the above (pretty much maxed out at the time) model for about 2 years, but only been using for about half that time. Yet it freezes without any reason (sometimes just after startup without even touching anything) to the point that not even the blue screen comes up. In some cases, the full ssd shows utilisation while its not even half full, but other times without any substantial activity showing at all. It has an i7 vpro gen10 cpu, 1 tb of ssd storage and rtx3000 quatro gpu with a pro version of windows. On other days it runs 3d CAD work smoothly so I'm completely at a loss of ideas here. Is there anything i can do, or is it just a piece of junk? Will never buy a lenovo again in my life but i kinda need this to work for now if possible. https://redd.it/1xgcxq5 @r_thinkpad

Unironically seeking a case for my T16 So I know there will probably be people taking the mick for wanting a case, but I guess in pursuit of thinner bezels and sleeker looking laptops the T series have become somewhat flimsy. Treating it the same way I did with my P53 and T60 has resulted in a scratch on the display already, and I'd like some way to increase A-frame stiffness without paying the P series tax. Transferring motherboard as a beginner So the shell of my thinkpad t480s as I have found the top middle screw hole no longer seems to thread in no matter what screws I try to put in so I decided to buy a new shell with a fingerprint sensor, and Im thinking to move it there once I feel comfortable but has anyone done the same, Im worried abt killing the mobo despite already have done other stuff like repairing the display twice?
