Reference words
We use reference words (e.g. she, us, those, one, so) to refer to a word or group of words in a text. Sometimes, these words refer to a noun or phrase that comes before them.
Example: - We all ate the pizza but none of us liked it. (Here, 'it' is a reference word and it is referring to the word 'the pizza'.) - The boss left early and so did we.(Here, 'so' is a reference word and it is referring to the action, 'leaving early'.)
Sometimes they refer to something after them.
- When they arrested the men, the police were very satisfied. (Here, 'they' is a reference word and it is referring to 'the police'. Understanding referencing is an important skill if you want to achieve a high score in the Reading section. Many reading questions require you to identify what a pronoun, phrase, or expression refers to. By learning to recognize these references quickly, you can understand the passage more accurately and find the correct answers more efficiently. @foxford_time

BTW, Temurbek 17 August soat 11 da markazi kelib career tanlash haqida va qanday qilib shu kasb egasi bo'lishi haqida so'zlab beradi. Agarda qiziqishga ega bo'lsangiz, o'quvchilar shu kuni tashrif buyurshingiz mumkin. ☝️☝️☝️After all, kim biladi deysiz balki ushbu mexmon sababdor bo'lib qolar career tanlashingizda

"Temurbek Zokirov BMT (UNFCCC) qoshida faoliyat yurituvchi Xalqaro Moliyaviy Fondda (GCF) Sharqiy Yevropa, Markaziy Osiyo va Yaqin Sharq mintaqalari bo‘yicha Kordinator va moliyaviy tahlilchi lavozimida ishlaydi. Temurbek ushbu lavozimda 14 dan ortiq davlatlardagi 3 milliard AQSH dollaridan ortiq qiymatdagi 32 ga yaqin loyihalarni boshqarishda muhim rol o'ynaydi. Shuningdek, shu kungacha 70 dan ortiq umumiy qiymati 65 million AQSH dollariga yaqin grant loyihalarini ham boshqarishda muhim rol oynaydi.   Temurbek GCFda ishlagunga qadar BMTning Barqaror rivojlanish boʻyicha byurosida va Xitoy Xalq Respublikasining Pekin shahrida joylashgan Xalqaro Tashkilotda (International Institut of Green Finance) faoliyat yuritib qimmatli tajriba toʻplagan. Shuningdek, Yaponiya davlatida amaliyot dasturini tamomlagan.  Asli oʻzbekistonlik boʻlgan Temurbek 2017-yilda Janubiy Koreyaning Ajou universitetida Biznes boshqaruvi boʻyicha magistrlik darajasini olgan. Shuningdek, Toshkentdagi Jahon Iqtisodiyoti va Diplomatiya Universitetining Xalqaro Munosabatlar yo'nalishida bakalavr darajasini tamomlagan."

🌍 BMTda ishga kirish nega bunchalik qiyin? Hech o‘ylab ko‘rganmisiz, nega Birlashgan Millatlar Tashkilotida (BMT) ishga kirish minglab eshiklardan o‘tishga o‘xshaydi? Gap faqat yaxshi diplomda emas. BMTdagi lavozimlarga dunyoning turli burchaklaridan yuzlab, hatto minglab nomzodlar ariza topshirishi mumkin. Ularning orasida kuchli akademik bilimga, xalqaro tajribaga, bir nechta tilga va yillik professional tajribaga ega insonlar bor. Jarayon esa bundan ham murakkab: 📚 Ta’lim — tegishli diplom ko‘pincha faqat boshlanishi. 💼 Tajriba — ko‘plab lavozimlar bir necha yillik tegishli ish tajribasini talab qiladi. 🌐 Xalqaro tajriba — turli davlatlar va madaniyatlar bilan ishlash katta ustunlik berishi mumkin. 🗣️ Tillar — kuchli kommunikatsiya va qo‘shimcha tillarni bilish muhim bo‘lishi mumkin. 📝 Saralash — rezyume va arizangiz dastlabki bosqichning o‘zidayoq yuzlab nomzodlar orasidan ajralib turishi kerak. 🎯 Intervyu — shunchaki nimalarni bilishingiz emas, balki nimalarga erishganingiz ko‘rsatiladi. ⏳ Sabr — ishga qabul qilish jarayoni ba'zan oylar davom etishi mumkin. Achchiq haqiqat shuki: Malakali bo‘lish — raqobatbardosh bo‘lish degani emas. Ammo aynan shu narsa BMTdagi karyerani shunchalik nufuzli qiladi. Siz o‘z shahringizdagi odamlar bilan raqobatlashmaysiz. Siz butun dunyodagi iqtidorli insonlar bilan raqobatlashasiz. 🌎 Shuning uchun agar maqsadingiz BMTda ishlash bo‘lsa, o‘zingizdan shunchaki: «“Men bunga malakam yetadimi?”» deb so‘ramang. Buning o‘rniga: «“Yuzlab malakali nomzodlar orasida meni ajratib turadigan jihat nima?”» deb so‘rang. Chunki bunday darajada “yetarlicha yaxshi” bo‘lish ko‘pincha yetarli emas. 🌍 Katta maqsad qo‘ying. Tinimsiz tayyorlaning. O‘zingizni ajrating.
