🌹Welcoming Safar al-Khayr🌹 Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Adilق said, "Safar is a challenging month, therefore they say Safar al-Khayr so it would be a means towards beneficence.” Safar al-Khayr is the second month of the Islamic Hijri calendar and is known to be one of the heavier months of the Islamic year. However, as Mawlanaق reminded us, every month created by Allah contains wisdom, blessings, and opportunities to draw nearer to Him. Throughout this blessed month, we are encouraged to observe its adab, remain steadfast in our daily awrad and wazifas, increase in istighfar and sadaqah, and seek Allah’s protection from every trial and calamity. The most significant date this month is the Last Wednesday of Safar, which falls on 12th August 2026. ⚠️ Dates may vary from country to country depending on local moon sightings. Kindly follow your local authority where applicable. For simplicity and consistency, the dates mentioned follow Mawlanaق's calendar. InsyaAllah, Safar 1448H will begin after Maghrib on Tuesday, 14th July 2026 following Mawlanaق’s calendar. For us in Singapore, it will be a day later. 🪴 Tuesday, 14th July 2026 🌙 Eve of Safar At sunset, it is Sunnah to sight the new moon and recite the New Moon Sighting Duʿa. Mawlana Shaykh Nazimق would begin the month of Safar by reciting Hizbul Wiqayah, a powerful Litany of Protection. It is said that 70,000 afflictions descend upon creation on this day. Full devotions will be shared closer to date, InsyaAllah. Collective Qurban SufiHub (Naqshbandi Aliyyah A’Posh Singapore) will also be organising a collective Qurban at the maqam of Grandshaykh Abdullahق in Syria on this day.
