InsyaAllah our charity form for the Month of Muharram will be closed tmr, Monday@10pm.
The final project in Gaza was completed last week to celebrate Maal Hijrah.
Packed rice with mixed vegetables and roasted chicken were distributed at Al-Helou camp.
May Allah accept the generousity of our contributors, showers baraqah in their wealth and families and may every grain distributed become a source of reward and salvation in the hereafter.

Alhamdulillah, all charity projects for Zulhijjah have been completed.
The final one, we were able to distribute packed rice & chicken to celebrate maal hijrah in Gaza.
For Muharam Charity, we will close early by this Monday, 22nd June, 6th Muharram so all funds can reach Nigeria, Syria & Gaza in time for them to prepare a nice meal to feed those in need on the Day Of Asyura on the 10th Muharram.
There is also an additional column for Qurban for Asyura & the Birthday of Shah Naqshband on 14th Muharram.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm
Alhamdulillah, tonight we welcome the New Hijri Year here in Singapore.
Below are some recommended practices, with links attached. May they be of benefit to all. 💚
① Fast on this day.
After Asar:
② Perform a ritual bath (ghusl) for the sake of Allah Almighty, followed by two raka‘at Solatul Wudhu to welcome the New Hijri Year and the Holy Month of Muharram al-Haram.
③ Recite the End of Year Duʿa three times, followed by Surah Al-Fatiha.
After Maghrib:
④ At sunset, it is Sunnah to sight the new moon and recite the New Moon Sighting Duʿa.
⑤ Recite the Beginning of Year Duʿa three times, followed by Surah Al-Fatiha.
⑥ After reciting these duʿas, make many virtuous intentions to become a better believer in the coming year.
⑦ Make the intention to fast the following day.
This is also the night of:
• The Martyrdom of Sayyidina Umar al-Khattabر, the second Caliph of Rasulullah ﷺ
• The Mawlid of Shaykh Khas Muhammad Sirwaniق, the 33rd Grandshaykh of the Golden Chain
Al-Fatiha for their blessed souls.

🌹Muharram is Very Special to Us🌹
[Short excerpt of a Sohbah given on 21st July 2023 by Almarhum Sheikh Abdul Sattar.]
“MashaAllah, Alhamdulillah, we are now in the New Muslim Year and New Muslim Month of Muharram.
Muharram is very special for us in this Tariqah because although the Ma’al Hijrah is celebrated around the world, it is of special significance to the Naqshbandis.
Not only is it the Hijrah the beginning of the Muslim calendar, but the beginning of our Tariqah also lies in the Hijrah itself, in which the wisdom of Rasulullah ﷺ was passed on to Sayyidina Abu Bakar Siddiqر after handing over all the amanahs (responsibilities). Even the non-Muslims had given a lot of amanah to the Holy Prophet to hold when he was in Makkah.
Before leaving for Madinah, he disbursed all these amanahs, even the enemies of Islam, those who were persecuting him and even those who hated him. For even they trusted him as Al-Amin, the trustworthy one. He returned all their amanahs. He left some in the hands of Sayyidina Aliر.
On that night, the tribesmen, youth of different Qabilah (tribes) surrounded and tried to kill the Prophet ﷺ. But the Holy Prophet ﷺ walked right past them and with Sayyidina Abu Bakar as-Siddiqر, began his 450km journey. A journey that Prophet ﷺ took on his camel with his bosom companion, Sayyidina Abu Bakar as-Siddiqر who is at the helm of this Tariqah.
This is the only Tariqah of the 41 Tariqahs that begins its journey with Sayyidina Abu as-Bakar Siddiqر, the Naqshbandi ‘Aliyyah Tariqah. All the other 40 Tariqahs taking their roots with Sayyidina Aliر, Karam-Allahu Wajhah.
What a blessing for us to be with this Tariqah. It is a gift from Allah to us, which we must treasure...”

🌟 Eve of Ashura
Night of 10th Muharram
• Night preceding the Martydom of Imam Hussainر, beloved Grandson of the Prophet ﷺ, and members of his holy family and companions
• Urs of Shaykh Abu al-Hassan al-Kharqaniق, the 7th Grandshaykh of the Golden Chain
• Mawlid of Shaykh Ahmad al-Faruqi as-Sirhindiق, the 25th Grandshaykh of the Golden Chain
After Asar, about an hour before Maghrib, do recite the holy names of the Martyrs of Karbala. Connecting to them for their Madad and Himmah.
We are highly encouraged to spend the night in vigil.
🌴 Thursday, 25th June 2026 / 10 Muharram 1448H
🌟 Day of Ashura
This is the day upon which Allah granted victory and relief to many of His Prophets (AS) after periods of hardship and trial.
It is Sunnah to fast during the first 10 days of Muharram, especially on this day.
Hajja Rukiye Sultan said:
"The fast on the Day of Ashura gives whoever is fasting immense thawab. Whoever fasts receives the reward of a thousand Hajjs, a thousand Umrahs, and the reward of a thousand martyrs."

These days are known as the White Days, during which it is Sunnah to fast.

🌟 Night of 14th Muharram
Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Baha’uddin Shah Naqshbandق made this duʿa:
"O my Lord, do not let anyone who takes me as a guide, nor those who came before me or after me, exist without Your support."
All the angels of the heavens said, "Ameen."
Grandshaykh Abdullah al-Faiz ad-Dagestaniق said that the barakah of this duʿa manifests four times a year:
✦ 14th Muharram
✦ 1st Ramadhan
✦ 15th Ramadhan
✦ Laylatul Qadr
The barakah of this duʿa descends on this night, and we should ask to be given a share of it.
It is encouraged for us to congregate for Khatamul Khwajagan and Zikir, recite Mawlid Nabi in dedication to him, and read excerpts of his blessed life.
Shaykh Adnan Kabbaniق also advised that this is a highly significant night filled with divine blessings, and that we should make abundant duʿas, especially in the time before Fajr during tahajjud.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm
"When they were in the cave and he said to his companion, 'Do not be sad, Allah is with us.' Then Allah sent His peace upon him and supported him with unseen angels..."
(Surah at-Tawbah, verse 40)
Hijri Mubarak to all our subscribers! 💚
Muharram is the first month of the Islamic Hijri calendar and marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year.
It is especially known for the Hijrah, the migration of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from Makkah al-Mukarramah to Madinatul Munawwarah.
This holy month is a time to increase in worship and observe Sunnah fasting. It is an eventful month, with the Day of Ashura, the 10th of Muharram, being the highlight of its days.
Muharram also holds special significance in the Naqshbandi Way. Imamul Tariqah Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Baha’uddin Shah Naqshbandق, the spiritual pillar of our Tariqah, was born on the 14th of Muharram.
⚠️ Dates may vary from country to country depending on local moon sightings. Kindly follow your local authority where applicable.
For simplicity and consistency, the dates mentioned follow Mawlanaق's calendar.
InsyaAllah, Muharram 1448H will begin after Maghrib tonight, 15th June 2026.
For us in Singapore, it will be a day later.
🌴 Monday, 15th June 2026
🌙 Eve of Muharram
This is the last day of the Islamic year. Mawlana Sheikh Nazimق advised us to fast on both the last day of the year and the first day of the new year.
Practices for the Eve of Muharram:
① Fast on this day.
After Asar:
② Perform a ritual bath (ghusl) for the sake of Allah Almighty, followed by two raka‘at Solatul Wudhu to welcome the New Hijri Year and the Holy Month of Muharram al-Haram.

🌙 The New Muslim Year Begins
Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbaniق said:
"Our year is starting with goodness not evil. You enter this year by making du’ā’ for yourself, your family, your children, your homeland, your nation.
You enter by asking for goodness, desiring true goodness, wanting the īmān of believers to increase, and asking guidance for people as goodness for them.
You enter the year making du’ā asking that they also taste these beautiful days, these beautiful times. May they be granted that."
Daily Additional Devotions for Muharram, shared by Mawlana Sheikh Nazimق in 2011:
① Salawat Tunjina — 40 times
② HasbunAllah RabbunAllah — 100 times
③ Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem — 100 times
④ Surah Al-Ikhlas — 100 times
⑤ Salawat — 100 to 1,000 times
⑥ Paying more attention to our daily prayers
⑦ Seeking repentance through abundant Astaghfirullah
⑧ Sunnah fasting
It is Sunnah to fast from the 1st to the 10th of Muharram.
If unable to fast all ten days, aim to fast on the 9th and 10th Muharram, the 10th and 11th Muharram, or from the 9th to the 11th Muharram.
If only one day is possible, then fast on the 10th of Muharram, the Day of Ashura.
🌴 Thursday, 18th June 2026 / 3 Muharram 1448H
🌙 Eve of Jumaah
At Maghrib, we enter the first, and in some countries the only, Friday within the first ten days of Muharram.
It is highly encouraged to increase salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ on this day. If able, consider fasting.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever fasts the first Friday of Muharram, Allah will forgive his preceding sins, and whoever fasts three days of Muharram — Thursday, Friday and Saturday — Allah will write for him worship and prayers for nine hundred years."
