20 Not all the food at ALDI has the bioengineered ingredients. You have to read the label on the back of everything you buy at ALDI to know what is real food and what is not.
Many products right next to each other, but different flavors have some that are real and other items that are not. They are testing to see if the public will buy the fake food any less than the real food. If consumers refuse to buy the fake food, ALDI will cut back on how much they stock.
But, you have to read the labels on the back to know. Some food in the fresh fridge food section is fake, while the food in the canned jars on the shelves is real.
You can't just assume that the more expensive "fresh" food is real, and the canned is fake. Clearly this is not about cheaper food, because some of the fake food is more expensive than the real food. (For example the pizza sauce that is fresh is fake, but the canned in glass jars for many brands at ALDI is real).
The cookie dough with caramel and chocolate is real, but the without caramel chocolate chip one is fake. (Even as they look nearly the same, same brand, right next to each other in the fridge area).
Same with some of the breads, some of them, like sour dough have only a few ingredients and is 100% real. Yet, some of the wholegrain wheat ones are fake.
You can just assume by the branding of the package or the price it is real, you have to read the labels on everything you buy (not just at ALDI), but all the stores now.
