Knights of Gold (Gold/FOREX Analysis/Trade ideas)

The point is a chart is a chart. Levels are levels, it all depends on your style of trading. Every move does however start from the longer term charts, that's why we mostly analyse the markets top down, start on the monthly at a minimum, then work your way down. This shows you where markets have turned, the long term trend, the swing lows and swing higher. You then look at the patterns, the structure, the range etc. If you're an intra-day trader you use that information to then gauge where you're potentially going and how you're going to get there but most importantly, where are you going to get out if it goes wrong!! Remember, the market will always give you an opportunity, either to get in, or get out! Don't let your ego write cheques your butt can't cash!
