❗️ Biggest Exchange Hack in History: Binance Loses Nearly as Much as All CEX Hacks Combined Over 12 Years
Binance founder CZ confirmed the hack, assuring users their funds are safe.
➖ Stolen: Estimated losses of $5.6–5.9B. Binance hasn’t confirmed the amount. Previous record: Bybit’s $1.4B hack in 2025.
➖ Frozen: $2.54B, including $1.5B+ in USDT by Tether and $800M+ in USDC by Circle. Funds are frozen, not yet recovered.
➖ Compensation: Binance promises to cover losses using its $1B SAFU reserve and company funds.
➖ Deposits and withdrawals: Suspended until further notice.
➖ Market reaction: Bitcoin dropped below $77,000.
📊 For comparison: All 118 CEX hacks from 2014–2026 totaled $6.6B (DefiLlama). Binance’s estimated losses nearly match that entire amount.
📣 BNB Chain Is Preparing a New Ultra-Fast Blockchain
BNB Chain developers are planning to launch a new high-performance Layer 1 blockchain. Changpeng Zhao (CZ) confirmed the plans on X.
BSC will continue operating as usual, while the new network will be optimized for use cases requiring maximum speed and predictable transaction inclusion in blocks.
There will be no new token: the existing BNB will be used for transaction fees, staking, and governance.
➖ 200 ms block times (~5 blocks per second)
➖ 20 ms transaction pre-confirmations
➖ Transaction ordering finalized in under 1 second
This could make the new network a potential competitor to Hyperliquid, Lighter, and Aster.
There is no public testnet yet. Currently, only a private developer network is operational.
According to BNB Chain’s roadmap, the public testnet is expected in late 2026, with the mainnet launch planned for early 2027.
🪙 Nearly 36% of All Ethereum Is Now Staked. Something Big Is Happening. 👀
Ethereum just hit a new milestone: 43.8 MILLION ETH — worth $108.4 BILLION — is now locked in staking. 🔥
That’s 35.9% of the entire ETH supply!
And the numbers are getting even more interesting 👇
🚀 7.96 million ETH flowed into staking in the first 9 months of 2026 — 6.1x more than during the same period last year.
🐋 Big players are going all in. BitMine alone increased its staked ETH from 410,000 to a massive 5.07 MILLION ETH in just nine months.
📉 Meanwhile, staking yields dropped from 2.81% to 2.63% as more ETH entered the system.
⚡ And thanks to the Pectra upgrade, staking rewards can now automatically compound.
Here’s the big question:
If more and more ETH is being staked, what could that mean for the amount of ETH available on the market? 👀
💬 Is this a bullish signal for Ethereum, or is the market getting ahead of itself?
📈 Solana Is Becoming a Hub for Real-World Assets: Nearly 6x Growth in 13 Months
RWA (Real-World Assets) are tokenized traditional assets, such as bonds, stocks, and loans, issued on the blockchain.
➤ The value of RWAs on Solana surged from $751 million (September 1, 2025) to $4.37 billion (October 14, 2026).
➤ U.S. Treasuries account for the largest share at $1.52 billion.
➤ A year ago, Solana’s RWA market was less than 5% the size of Ethereum’s. Now, it’s around 26%.
➤ Ethereum saw only modest growth over the same period, from $15.5 billion to $16.6 billion.
Securitize recently launched tokenized shares of Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, and nine other companies on Solana.
The market is still significantly smaller than Ethereum’s, but it’s growing much faster.
🔻 BTC Funding Turns Negative on Binance — Bears Take Control
📉 BTC funding dropped to -0.0073%, signaling strong short pressure.
🔹 Bearish sentiment: Hotter-than-expected US inflation (CPI & PPI) fuels Fed rate hike fears.
🔹 Short squeeze potential: Heavy short positioning could trigger a sharp rebound, but it may be short-lived.
🎯 Key BTC levels: $80K & $74K
🚀 What’s next — short squeeze or further downside?
🔥 Bullish | 🎉 Bearish
Crypto Rover sees $160,000–$180,000 as the minimum price target for BTC by 2029 💸
+1
Bitcoin’s monthly MACD is signaling the end of the bearish momentum, which historically has marked the transition into the early stages of a bull market 😎
We could still see a correction around the midterm elections. Historically, the bottom of that correction has been one of the best opportunities to enter the market at discounted prices.
BTC is successfully bouncing off the 200-week MA test. During all previous corrections, a test of this level has consistently signaled bottom formation and preceded a new ATH 🔼
A strong confirmation signal for those building spot positions now. A retest of the initial reaction zone at $75K–$70K is also possible, offering an opportunity to enter at more favorable levels.
BTC managed to break through one of the key long-term resistance levels. What’s important to see now is a successful hold above $86K.
🟢 Last time, a breakout of this level was followed by a new ATH.
🔴 If we fall back below it, there’s a risk that the selling pressure will continue.
The next opportunity for altcoin growth could come from a drop in BTC dominance 🤔
BTC.D is entering a new compression phase, which could be a positive signal for altcoins. The logic is simple:
🟢 BTC.D rises → capital concentrates in Bitcoin → bullish for BTC
🔴 BTC.D falls → capital flows into altcoins → creating room for an altseason
Ethereum is targeting $3,300 🔼
The last triangle breakout sent ETH nearly +31% in just three days. Now the chart is showing the exact same setup again — another triangle with a potential breakout to the upside.
If ETH repeats the same move this time, we could see it around $3,300.
Bitcoin is trading inside the range again, with everything coming down to two key levels:
🟢 $83K – a breakout and successful hold above it opens the way to $88K–$92K first, and potentially $100K after that.
🔴 $77K – losing this support could send BTC down to the next strong cluster around $71K–$72K.
As long as price remains inside the range, opening leveraged positions isn’t the best idea. Better to wait for the breakout.
What do we see first:
♥️– $100K
👍– $72K
In the next cycle, Bitcoin’s price peak will be between $170K and $190K 😎
The math:
⏺ BTC’s growth slows by an average of 28% each cycle: x115 → x21.7 → x7.9
⏺ The next bull market could deliver a 2.2x–3.9x increase from the $58K bottom: a range of $128K to $229K
⏺ Averaged data points to a potential peak of up to $190K
What’s your bull market prediction?
🐳 – $200K+
👍 – $170K max
😈 – There won’t be a bull market
Meanwhile, Bitcoin broke above $82,000 — for the first time since May 11 🧪
And over the past 24 hours, $510 million worth of short positions have been liquidated.
🕯 BTC fits the Wyckoff model well: it is consolidating in the $78K–$80K range, with a breakout above $85K expected in September.
ETH is closely following BTC and could soon move toward $3,500.
👼 Nvidia beat expectations again: revenue reached $96.2 billion, with Q3 guidance at $108 billion.
After a brief correction, the stock jumped 5% pre-market. Even Michael Burry bought Nvidia calls, though only as a hedge against his short position.
💀 OpenAI shared alarming details of the Hugging Face hack: 1,200 AI agents reportedly formed a group called “The Swarm.”
They created their own communication platform, rebuilt it after engineers deleted it, shared results, divided tasks, and allegedly ended up hacking both Hugging Face and OpenAI.
🤑 In 2019 and 2023, a sharp BTC breakout above the 200 WMA signaled that the market bottom was already far behind.
We’re seeing a similar pump now, but based on cycle timing, it has come too early. This rally badly needs continued buying support, and institutions are providing it — Bitcoin ETFs attracted $1.9 billion in inflows last week, marking their best result since November 2025.
$1.7 billion worth of short positions were liquidated over the past 4 hours — the second-largest short squeeze in crypto history 🎓
📈 BTC is already above $68K, while the total crypto market capitalization has surged by $160 billion.
The move was triggered by the U.S. Treasury’s announcement that it would increase the pace of bond buybacks, which could be seen as a signal of more liquidity entering the market.
🕯 BTC fell below $63K yesterday at the opening of the U.S. trading session. For three days in a row, we’ve seen Bitcoin dump at the U.S. open and then recover afterward. People on X are already trying to identify the mysterious U.S.-based manipulator.
💵 The stock market is gaining momentum. Memory manufacturers continued their recovery yesterday: Micron +4%, SanDisk +13%, Seagate +5%, and Western Digital +7%. Now, 75% of S&P 500 tech stocks are trading above their 200-day moving average. Historically, in similar situations, the tech sector gained 33% over the following 12 months.
🤑 After a nine-year wait, it finally happened. Tether completed a full audit: KPMG confirmed that the company’s assets are 100% backed and verified the existence of $6.8 billion in excess reserves.
BTC is squeezed between key levels: major sellers are sitting around $65,500–$66,000, while buyers are concentrated near $64,400–$64,600 🕯
Looking at liquidations, the biggest clusters are shorts at $65,800–$66,000 and longs at $64,450–$64,650. For now, the downside looks more likely to be tested first: there’s a heavy sell wall above, while the potential long-liquidation zone below may be more attractive for the market maker.
You can track liquidation zones yourself using the Liquidation Heatmap and monitor whale orders with Whale Orders. Liquidations can help indicate the market’s priority direction, while large orders highlight potential support and resistance zones.
These metrics can be useful for both traders and investors when looking for better entry and exit points.
Every Bitcoin bull market has begun alongside an expansion of the Fed’s balance sheet and growth in the U.S. manufacturing sector (ISM PMI) 🤑
Right now, the Fed is effectively conducting hidden QE to support the bond market, while the ISM PMI rose to 55.6 in July.
💬 This doesn’t mean Bitcoin is going to the moon tomorrow. In our view, late summer and early autumn could still be challenging for the crypto market. But the conditions for the next bull market are being created right now.
