Ten Hag: "We will not be satisfied to look back on this season and say that we reached the Emirates FA Cup semi-finals. Nobody comes to Wembley to lose. We want to be back here at the start of June for this year's final." [match programme]

Ten Hag: "Not because I do not enjoy it. But because everybody at our club works under huge pressure to meet the highest expectations. We still have a distance left to go in our journey, but I am proud of the progress the squad has made this season."

Ten Hag: "At #mufc, competing for trophies is the required standard. After we faced Brighton on the opening day of the season, I admitted that being manager of this club is a hell of a job. Eight months later, I stand by that." [match programme]

Erik ten Hag on Sevilla performance: "I was angry. As a manager, I cannot accept a team that is not giving its best. I will never accept it. I made them aware of my feelings. They didn't manage the standards of how I manage a team in professional football."

OFFICIAL: #mufc vs Chelsea has been rearranged to kick off on Thursday 25 May at 20:00 BST.

Ten Hag: “I think they [players] understand [expectations], but if not it’s time to be aware of it, it’s great to be part of Man United, to be part of this football club, but the flip side is you have to prove it every game.” #MUFC

Ten Hag: “I think we are always playing for our future as professional players. Every game is a test, every season is a test, you have to earn the right to wear the shirt. It’s for me as a manager. We are in the same boat.” #MUFC

Ten Hag on Maguire: “He has an important role, he is the captain, he leads and he communicates with the manager, motivates the team, he’s the example in the training space.” #MUFC

Ten Hag: “I know this group of players can do better, they’ve proved it so many times this season, we’ve made huge progress during the season but we have steps to go. We have a lot of games to play and occasions to prove it.” #MUFC

Ten Hag: “In this moment I don’t think about the summer, I’m thinking about improving this team and these players, that’s my job with the coaching staff and the players. We have all our focus on this process and not on other processes, that will distract you.” #MUFC

Ten Hag on bouncing back: “I always think about do I refresh, I have a squad, but also I know that we this season, we had bad defeats, bad performances, we bounce back, I’m convinced we can do again, we have the experience.” #MUFC
