| 5 |  Last night we completed The Book of Tawhid once again with Shaykh al-Fawzan’s explanation, Iʿanah al-Mustafid.
The last time was in January 2016.
Next, insha Allah, we will study The Book of Tawhid from Sahih al-Bukhari.
Muhammad b. Abd al-Wahhab did not bring anything new. The same Tawhid he called to is found throughout the Quran, the Sunnah, and the writings of the early scholars.
The issue was never merely the man. It is the message of Tawhid and the rejection of shirk that his enemies among the Sufis, the Shi’ah, and their allies despise.

Glory be to Allāh! How much have those who turn away from the divine texts and fail to seek knowledge from its light missed of the treasures and riches?
What have they lost in terms of the life of the hearts and the illumination of insight?
They have become content with words derived from opinion and reasoning and split into factions over these thoughts and exchanged empty, decorated and deceptive rhetoric with one another; and due to this, they abandoned the Qurʿān.
