It is their belief that Web3 can become a safe environment for everyone. Problems to solve: They have made it their mission to improve the overall safety of all OCEAN data token users, so anyone can trade data without running the risk of getting the "rug pulled". The Governauts Rewards Systems Research project from @tokengineering is a returning project that has received funding during Round 10 and aims to develop and verify #DAO improvements for @OceanDAO_, as part of a community research initiative led by #TokenEngineeringAcademy. Problems to solve: #RewardsSystems are key for DAOs to grow the ecosystem value, reward contributors and grant decision making power (governance tokens) to those who provide value to a DAO. The project aims to support OceanDAO with the rewards systems detailed in the roadmap. One of the grant deliverables is an educational program, with a minimum of 8 public lectures provided on topics like computer-aided governance, game design, behavioural economics, currency design, monetary theory and #tokenengineering. One of the new projects that received funding in OceanDAO R11 is @walt_id, which is working on implementing Europe’s new open-source digital identity ecosystem based on EBSI and ESSIF in Ocean Protocol. Check out their website here: https://walt.id/ Problems to solve: enabling GDPR-compliant verification of issued credentials by setting up full SSI integration (SSI Kit) to be used by Ocean Market implementations. By offering an SSI/VC solution, the value of the Ocean tech stack is bound to increase.
