Risk-on is just another term for reckless. If the labor data comes in weak, the market will price in rate cuts, sending capital flying into the speculative junk. These small tokens are built on hype cycles and, frankly, they deserve the volatility. I haven't slept in two days. If the Russell 2000 rally creates the liquidity floor Lee is talking about, we are going to see a short-lived explosion in altcoin value. But when the dust settles, the only thing left will be the projects that have real, non-speculative revenue. Good luck finding those.

Market says franklin is the future of finance. I say it is a company trying to survive a slow-motion collapse by buying its way into the crypto space. This coffee tastes like burnt rubber. They are not adding value; they are just adding complexity. If the digital assets do not hit, they are just overpaying for a tech stack they don't know how to run. Investors are ignoring the underlying decay in traditional AUM because the digital story is louder. That is a dangerous game for anyone holding the stock for the long term.

The cftc gave the go-ahead for coinbase to be its own clearinghouse. This is the definition of a high-risk, high-reward bet. By bringing clearing in-house, they are chasing the institutional fees that have been bleeding away to traditional firms. It is all about the margin. They think they can manage the risk better than the old guard. If they are wrong, the whole ship sinks. It is funny how they preach decentralization while building the most centralized clearing infrastructure imaginable. I need to get new glasses. Keep an eye on the volume migration, that is the only metric that matters.

Everyone wants a 197k bitcoin. Nobody wants to deal with the 20 percent equity drop required to get there. My back aches from this cheap chair. Dragosch says macro weakness is already priced in, but I bet the retail traders think otherwise. If the liquidity expansion hits, then the rotation begins. But we are fighting the fed, and they never lose on purpose. They just make us lose instead. I keep waiting for the crash that clears the board. Then we can finally see what the real floor is. It is probably way lower than these institutional models suggest.
