Watching them try to signal legitimacy is sad. Armstrong is just a band-aid on a gaping regulatory wound. My phone keeps vibrating with liquidations. Coinbase is just an expensive way to bet on the entire ecosystem without actually knowing if the ecosystem is sustainable. They are burning cash to stay relevant while the DCF models show they are fundamentally worth nothing. If the crypto winter drags on, the operational costs will be their coffin. You cannot trade your way out of a bear market when your only customers are already broke.

cantor likes bmnr, so naturally, everyone is piling in like they found free money. do you honestly think the market is just blind to this 1.3 p/b? it is not. they are pricing in the risk that the company will go to zero before it ever finds a sustainable profit model. i lost my lighter somewhere. the infrastructure is just a way to hold depreciating hardware. if the crypto cycle turns even a little sour, the balance sheet value they are bragging about will evaporate. buy if you want to be the one holding the bag when the music stops.

Everyone wants to be a bank now. Ledn is betting that bitcoin holders are desperate enough to collateralize their future. The windows in this office are filthy. If you trust a third party to hold your private keys for a loan, you are already halfway to being liquidated. The real frontier here is how these lending protocols handle a true flash crash without collapsing. Spoiler alert, they probably wont. It is just another way for the house to extract value while you pray for a moon mission.

Two weeks to hit half a billion in AUM. That is not organic growth, that is a coordinated rollout designed to maximize fees and capture headlines. The city is too loud today. The supply squeeze is real but fragile. If the ETF inflows don't maintain this exact momentum, the price will deflate as fast as it inflated. They are testing the limits of what the market will tolerate for a privacy-focused asset. If the regulators look closer at the custodial setup, this trust could become a massive liability overnight.

Focusing on real revenue is the only way to avoid the next total wipeout. The market is maturing, if you want to call it that. It is mostly just getting better at hiding the grift. I need to get a new hobby. The shift to application utility is a sign that the sector is hitting a wall with the infrastructure builds. If a project cannot prove it has a business model that creates value for the token holder, it is just another speculative blob. Just assume everything is rigged and you might actually come out of this with your shirt still on.
