نام تابلو: شام آخر نقاش: لئوناردو داوینچی سال خلق: ۱۴۹۵ تا ۱۴۹۸ محل نگهداری فعلی: کلیسای سانتا ماریا دله گراتسیه در شهر میلان ایتالیا مفهوم عمیق: «شام آخر» لحظهای را به تصویر میکشد که عیسی به حواریون خود میگوید یکی از آنان به او خیانت خواهد کرد. اما مفهوم اثر فراتر از یک روایت مذهبی است. این تابلو درباره اعتماد، وفاداری، تردید و شکنندگی روابط انسانی سخن میگوید. واکنش متفاوت هر یک از حواریون نشان میدهد که حقیقت، حتی زمانی که گریزناپذیر است، میتواند آرامش انسان را بر هم بزند. داوینچی یادآور میشود که در لحظات بحرانی، چهره واقعی انسانها آشکار میشود و گاهی بزرگترین درسهای زندگی از دلِ خیانت، فقدان و رنج زاده میشوند.
