New Light Theme Spotify & Apple Music Playlist Import Natively Dolby Atmos Playback & Downloads Proper Bit-Perfect Playback Recommendation Algorithm → YouTube Last.fm will remain available, but will become completely optional. Guest Login Modules + Playlist Downloads Improved Widget & Notification Tons of Bug Fixes, Improvements & Under-the-Hood Changes And yes, we're cooking some more stuff that isn't listed here. 4.2.0 is going to be a big one.

Guys, if you don't know how Bit Perfect works, please don't enable it and then spam “volume too high” or “volume slider doesn't work.” 😭 Bluetooth/wireless users and normal earphone users — please don't touch it. It's not meant for you. Bit Perfect can bypass normal software volume control depending on the output path. Use your DAC/device volume control and know what you're enabling. And if you find an actual issue, open a GitHub issue instead of spamming the chat. Basic research first. 😭

Playlist Downloads Are BACK. I know some of you were crying like children when we removed playlist downloads. 😭 And honestly, nobody really cared about what was happening behind the scenes — how much load it puts on our backend, or how repeatedly pushing it could even get our premium accounts banned. The impatient ones were always ready to push the limits and exploit whatever we gave them. But hey… we still cared. Because at the end of the day, we care about your experience more than you probably realize. We even cared about the people who were exploiting the system. 💀 So yes… ABUSERS, BE HAPPY. Playlist downloads are officially coming back. Go and just make us regret it again. 😭

LastWave 4.2.0 — Important Update Unfortunately, starting with v4.2.0, lossless streaming will no longer be included by default in the main APK.** To use lossless streaming, you’ll need to install an addon that we’ll provide through our official Telegram and Discord channels. The addon: * Takes only a few seconds to add * Requires no account sign-in * Has no usage limits * Can be freely distributed to anyone who wants it The reason for this change is simple: I’m barely 17, and I don’t want to put myself or the project in unnecessary legal trouble. I hope you guys can understand where I’m coming from. The main LastWave app will continue to be developed normally, and we’ll keep improving everything around it. Dolby Atmos support is also coming soon. We’ll provide the addons and future updates through our Telegram and Discord communities. Feel free to join both and share the addon with anyone who needs it. Thanks for understanding and supporting LastWave.

As LastWave continues to grow, managing and maintaining accounts for different services is becoming increasingly difficult. Relying on community-shared tokens also isn't ideal, since revoked or expired tokens can negatively affect the user experience. Big congratulations to everyone, we just crossed 2,000 subscribers. What started as a small open-source community with barely 100 people has now grown into something much bigger than I expected. I still remember asking a few tech channel owners with around 400 to 500 subscribers to promote Clashgram Web Client. Most refused, and some even gave me ethical lectures because it breaks ToS. No hate to anyone though. The people who supported us when we were still tiny, huge respect to you. That support actually mattered. And yeah, the irony is kind of funny. Almost all of those channels are still around 500 to 600 subscribers, while we are at 2K+ now. Thanks to everyone who joined, shared our projects, tested builds, reported bugs, gave feedback, and supported Clash Projects and LastWave. 2K feels special. We keep building from here.

Guys, right now if FLAC / Lossless isn’t available, LastWave directly falls back to ~160 kbps Opus. Do you want us to add a middle option between Lossless and Opus: FLAC / Lossless → 320 kbps AAC → ~160 kbps Opus Should we add 320 kbps AAC as the fallback bridge?
