People are breathing this smoke. Communities are living through it. Wildlife is losing its home. Schools are being disrupted, and people are having to go about their daily lives while breathing air that shouldn’t even be this dangerous. We don’t need another statement telling us to stay calm. We need actual action. We need transparency. And we need the people in power to take responsibility instead of waiting until the damage is done. Kalimantan deserves more than condolences after everything has already burned. 🩶

If every wildfire requires helicopters and cloud seeding, perhaps what we need to evaluate isn’t just our ability to put out fires, but why it is so easy for fires to start in the first place
