#Update The family of the deceased, Qari Rashid, is conducting a protest in front of the Bannu Press Club, accompanied by the body. According to family sources, Qari Rashid was detained by the Bannu Police Peace Committee from the city court on July 27, 2026. The family reported that relatives met with Hazrat Umar, the head of the Bannu Police Committee, who provided an oath on the Quran that Qari Rashid would not be subjected to extrajudicial killing. Furthermore, family sources stated that a press conference was held, during which the family offered to take an oath on the Quran affirming that the deceased was not involved in the killing of any police personnel. The family alleged that the Bannu Police Peace Committee had collected between 80 and 90 million PKR from rivals and subsequently abducted Qari Rashid without a First Information Report (FIR). They accused the Bannu Committee of accepting payments from individuals, abducting their rivals for financial gain, and executing them by designating them as militants. The family challenged the Bannu Police Committee to present evidence proving that Qari Rashid was involved in any attack or provided assistance in any attack against police forces. It was stated that, following the funeral, the family intends to hold a subsequent press conference to present all evidence indicating the involvement of the Bannu Police Peace Committee in the abduction and killing of Qari Rashid.

He accused Bannu committee for taking money from people and abducting their rivals for money and killing them by declaring them militants. He challenged Bannu police committee to bring the proofs that Qari Rashid was involved in any attack or assistance in any attack against police. He said that after funeral, family will do another press conference with all the evidence that Bannu Police Peace committee was involved in the abduction and killing of Qari Rashid.

According to reports, armed individuals abducted three non‑local labourers in the Goth Ishaq Khosa area of Sohbatpur district. The labourers were later shot dead by their captors.

#Update Armed individuals conducting snap checking on the Quetta–Taftan highway near the Charsar area of Chagai district have offloaded at least four labourers affiliated with a mining project and taken them to an unknown location.

#Update The third fatality resulting from the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in Mastung has been identified. Sepoy Abdul Razzaq, a Frontier Corps personnel and resident of Aghzarkhel, Lakki Marwat, has been confirmed deceased. The total number of fatalities has reached three. Additional casualty information will be provided upon identification.

According to initial reports, unknown individuals carried out a hand grenade attack on the Dab Chowk police checkpoint in Tehsil Ambar, Mohmand district. Five police officers sustained injuries in the attack. Key details:

· The injured officers have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
