Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) has released the statement, claiming "Fidayeen" attack on joint Army and Police CheckPost. According to the statement, militants have surrounded the post from 4 sides. Further details are awaited.

#Update Balochistan Liberation Front Claims Attack on Coast Guard in Jiwani, Other Operations According to a statement by the BLF (spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch), the group claimed responsibility for several operations between April 25 and May 8.

· May 8 (Jiwani): Attack on two Coast Guard personnel on motorcycle patrol. The BLF claimed both were killed and two G3 rifles seized. · May 6 (Kolwah): Surveillance cameras of the Pakistani military reportedly destroyed. · May 5 (Tump, Kech): Grenade launcher attack on a military post – casualties and damage claimed. · May 4 (Jerak, Kolwah): Mortar attack on a military camp – several personnel wounded and infrastructure damaged. · April 25 (Kolwah, Awaran): A mobile tower used for surveillance reportedly destroyed.

The BLF accepted responsibility for all claimed operations.

One distinction of the ongoing jihad of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan is that this jihad received written support and authentication from thousands of religious scholars and grand muftis. At that time, it was as though a consensus of Pakistan’s true scholars had been established on the legitimacy and obligatory nature of this jihad. Although later (in 2018), state institutions gathered some scholars in order to neutralize this fatwa and issued an official and coercive fatwa titled “Paigham-e-Pakistan,” whose status is known to every conscious person.   Similarly, the renowned scholarly and spiritual personality of Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania, its leading figure, guide of the masses, jurist of the age, unique scholar of the era, Mufti Muhammad Farid Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him), through the mediation of Sheikh Naseeb Khan Shaheed (may Allah have mercy on him), issued a courageous written fatwa for jihad against the army imposed on Pakistan in response to an inquiry from a delegation from Waziristan, by citing a passage from Allama Trabulsi (may Allah have mercy on him), which can be seen in Tajalliyat-e-Faridi.   Jurist of the age Mufti Muhammad Farid Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him), regarding the sacred jihad against the Pakistani army, cited this passage of Allama Trabulsi (may Allah have mercy on him) from Al-Fatawa al-Kamiliyyah: سُئِلْتُ عَنْ بَلْدَةٍ اِسْتَوَلَّ عَلَيْهَا الْكُفَّارُ وَتَمَكَّنُوْا مِنْهَا، فَانْضَمَّ اِلَيْهِمْ بَعْضُ الْقَبَائِلِ وَالْعَشَائِرِ، وَصَارُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ مَعَهُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَيَنْهَبُونَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ، وَيَنْصَحُونَ الْكُفَّارَ، وَيُعِينُونَهُمْ عَلٰى اَذَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ، فَكَانُوا اَشَدَّ ضَرَرًا عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ، فَمَا الْحُكْمُ فِيهِمْ وَهٰذَا حَالُهُمْ؟ فَالْجَوَابُ: اِنِّيْ لَمْ اَقِفْ عَلٰى حُكْمِ هٰؤُلَاءِ فِيْ كُتُبِ مَذْهَبِنَا مَعَاشِرِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، وَلٰكِنْ وَقَفْتُ عَلٰى حُكْمِهِمْ فِيْ كُتُبِ السَّادَةِ الْمَالِكِيَّةِ، اِلٰى اَنْ قَالَ: وَالظَّاهِرُ اَنَّ حُكْمَ هٰؤُلَاءِ حُكْمُ اَهْلِ الْحَرْبِ فِيْ قَتْلِهِمْ وَاَخْذِ اَمْوَالِهِمْ، وَاَمَّا اَوْلَادُهُمْ فَلَا يُقْتَلُونَ وَلَا يَكُونُونَ فَيْئًا، وَاِنَّمَا اُبِيحَ قَتْلُ الْبُغَاةِ مِنْهُمْ لِكَوْنِهِمْ رِدْءًا لِعَدُوِّ الْحَرْبِ وَمُعِينِينَ لَهُمْ بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ، وَحُكْمُ الرِّدْءِ اِذَا لَمْ يُقَاتِلْ مَعَ الْعَدُوِّ حُكْمُ الْمُقَاتِلِ، فَاَحْرٰى اِذَا قَاتَلَ۔ (الفتاوى الكاملية، كتاب الجنايات) You may ask a religious scholar for the translation of this passage. وَآخِرُ دَعْوَانَا اَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ

The mysterious killing of Sheikh Idris Sahib is not the first incident of its kind. Before this as well, the senior scholars and great spiritual leaders of respected religious seminaries, such as Mufti Nizamuddin Shamzai, the son of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Saleemullah Khan, namely Maulana Dr. Adil Khan, Sheikh Waliullah Kabulgrami, Sheikh Sultan Ghani Arif, Sheikh Naseeb Khan, Sheikh Sami ul Haq, and Maulana Hamid ul Haq (may Allah have complete and vast mercy upon them) were also martyred by the anti-Islam secret agencies imposed upon the country, as punishment for speaking the truth. We hope that Sheikh Idris Sahib has now joined his predecessor martyrs. God willing.   Secondly: I also consider it necessary to clarify that some people, consciously or unconsciously, instead of exposing the real killers of the honorable scholars and the enemies of the Islamic seminaries, make the inappropriate and untimely accusation that the mujahideen are responsible for the killing of these great personalities. Whereas we declare ourselves completely innocent of the brutal killing of Sheikh Idris Sahib and other truthful scholars like him. Therefore, attributing the killing of such great personalities to us is pure slander, to which we can only respond: “Glory be to You! This is a tremendous false accusation.”   Thirdly: I have already clarified before that we did not initiate the war against Pakistan’s security institutions. Rather, these state institutions openly stood alongside the hostile disbelievers, and just as they fully cooperated against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as assistants and tools of the disbelievers, similarly they openly supported America in drone strikes, military operations, and bombings against the mujahideen and migrants present in the tribal areas. As a result, from Swat to بلوچستان (Balochistan), nearly three million people were displaced, their settlements were turned into ruins, thousands of people were martyred, and thousands of Muslims disappeared at their hands and are still enduring the hardships of imprisonment and captivity. “In response to this open aggression by the Pakistani security institutions, we initiated defensive jihad. Regarding this sacred jihad of ours, concerns arose among ordinary Pakistani soldiers and some officers about what the Islamic ruling would be on fighting against unarmed Muslims at the behest of America.   Accordingly, a colonel named ‘Mahmood-ul-Hasan’ sought a written fatwa from religious scholars.   In response to this query, more than five hundred prominent Pakistani religious scholars, grand muftis of respected religious institutions, and senior shaykhs (for example, Mufti Nizamuddin Shamzai Shaheed, Shaykh al-Hadith Dr. Sher Ali Shah Sahib, Shaykh al-Hadith Maulana Abdul Razzaq Iskandar Sahib, Pir Syed Mukhtaruddin Shah Sahib, and others — may Allah have mercy on them and protect them) jointly issued a comprehensive fatwa declaring jihad against the Pakistani army obligatory, titled ‘The Consensus Fatwa of Pakistani Religious Scholars Regarding the Wana Operation,’ bearing their signatures. In this fatwa, the respected muftis declared the Pakistani army to fall under the rulings applicable to combatants, highway robbers, bandits, and rebels.   Thus, Shaykh al-Hadith Dr. Sher Ali Shah Sahib, may Allah have mercy on him, upon witnessing the courage of the scholars in this fatwa, also added the following sentence along with his signature: "لَقَدْ اَصَابَ الْمُفْتِيُوْنَ الْكَلَامَ فِيْ هَذِهِ الْفَتْوٰى وَالْحَقُّ اَحَقُّ اَنْ يُّتَّبَعَ، وَجَزَاهُمُ اللّٰهُ عَلٰی هٰذِہِ الْجُرْأَةِ الْاِيْمَانِيَّةِ . Translation: ‘Indeed, the muftis have spoken correctly in this fatwa, and the truth is more deserving to be followed. May Allah reward them for this act of faithful courage.’   These are words worthy of being written in gold.”

Condolence message and important statement by the respected Emir of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Mufti Abu Mansoor Asim (Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud), حفظه الله, regarding the martyrdom of Sheikh Idris رحمه الله and the current situation. بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.   نَحْمَدُہٗ وَنُصَلِّیْ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِہِ الْکَرِیْمِ،اَمَّابَعْدُ فَاَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطَانِ الرَّجِیْمِ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ: اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوْلِيَآءَ اللّٰهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ ٦٢ اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَكَانُوْا يَتَّقُوْنَ ٦٣ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرٰى فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِى الْاٰخِرَةِؕ     لَا تَبْدِيْلَ لِكَلِمٰتِ اللّٰهِؕ     ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ٦٤ Translation: We praise Him and send blessings upon His Noble Messenger. After this, I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:   > “Indeed, the friends of Allah shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve — those who believed and were God-fearing. For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter. There is no change in the words of Allah. That is the supreme success.” (Qur’an 10:62–64)   First of all, I would like to extend my condolences and message of comfort upon the martyrdom of حضرت شیخ المشائخ شیخ ادریس صاحب رحمہ اللہ (Hazrat Sheikh Idris Sahib, may Allah have mercy on him), the Sheikh al-Hadith of Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania, to his family members, students, and especially to the respected teachers of this great institution of learning.   May Allah Almighty grant complete forgiveness to Hazrat Sheikh Idris Sahib, elevate his ranks, and bless the teachers of the Jamia, the students, and his family with beautiful patience and immense reward over this great tragedy. Ameen. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.   The murderous attack on Hazrat Sheikh Idris (may Allah have mercy on him) is an extremely tragic and heart-wrenching incident. However, it is the unchanging law of Allah, the Lord of Majesty, that He Himself takes revenge upon those who murder or oppose the scholars and saints of Islam. In a Hadith Qudsi, حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ (Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:  اِنَّ اللهَ قَالَ: مَنْ عَادٰى لِيْ وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهٗ بِالْحَرْبِ Translation: > “Allah says: Whoever shows hostility toward a friend (wali) of Mine, I declare war against him.”   So when Allah Almighty declares war against someone, what doubt can remain about that person’s destruction and ruin? History bears witness that whoever has persecuted the scholars and saints has been deprived by Allah Almighty of faith and of a good ending. We pray that Allah humiliates and disgraces the killers of Hazrat Sheikh Idris Sahib and makes them an example for others. Hazrat Sheikh Idris Sahib was a great preacher and a guiding light for society. Today he is no longer among us or with his family, but the participation of hundreds of thousands of Muslims and thousands of scholars in his funeral prayer, and the expressions of love and devotion shown toward him, proved that he departed from the hardships of this world with a blessed ending, and reached better companions, family, and friends than those of this world. The founders, honorable teachers, and great spiritual leaders of Jamia Darul Uloom Haqqania have had the distinction that they always raised the word of truth against state institutions that protect Western interests. As a consequence, first malicious attempts were made to defame them, and later they were martyred through various tactics.
