-سنن الدارمي🌷[Not Listening to the People of Desires (Ahl al-Ahwāʾ)] 📒Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir narrated from Asmāʾ ibn ʿUbayd, who said: “Two men from the people of desires (Ahl al-Ahwāʾ) came to Ibn Sīrīn and said, ‘O Abū Bakr, let us narrate a ḥadīth to you.’ He replied, ‘No.’ They said, ‘Then let us recite a verse from the Book of Allah to you.’ He said, ‘No. Either you leave, or I will leave.’ So they left. Some of those present said, ‘O Abū Bakr, what harm would there have been in letting them recite a verse from the Book of Allah to you?’ He replied, ‘I feared that they might recite a verse from the Book of Allah to me and distort its meaning, and that it would then settle in my heart.’”

Do not forget the people of Tawḥīd, especially those among them who are facing hardship, and your brothers in prisons and tents, in your sincere duʿā.

الأم للشافعي ٢٣٩🤍🤍🤍 Imam al-Shāfiʿī 🤎 said: “I like to frequently send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ in every situation, and I recommend it even more on Friday and its night. I also like reading Surah Al-Kahf on Friday night and its day, because of what has been narrated regarding it."🧕

السنة للخلال ٢/ ٥١ (١٢٠٥)📖 Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Indeed, true faith is that a person loves another person with no close kinship between them, and without any wealth given to him, loving him for no reason other than for the sake of Allah."💗

— ابن حزم رحمه الله“The good qualities you have are not from your own doing; they are blessings that Allah has given you. If He had given those qualities to someone else, they would have been just like you. And if Allah left you to depend on yourself alone, you would be unable to succeed. So rather than feeling proud because of these blessings, thank the One who granted them to you and fear losing them.”
— Ibn Ḥazm
